You deserve to stay in parliament sir. You are doing a good job. Zuma and the ANC are misusing the money we work so hard for and avoid accountability.

Yho! How lucky SA is to have people who take Parliament seriously. Without such persistence for accountability we'd perish faster.

As much as they are criticized for misbehaving at times, EFF has a way of portraying its good image in national television and Radio. Look at Malema; Calm as it gets and the spokesperson keeping it funny all the way

I agree with you Zamo, ti is just a way of putting down the EFF as politically inexperienced children, and that is the African way of taming children not to revolt against adults, even if the adults are wrong.

The SABC should invest in better studios and presenters. Geez, that hideous background looks like a low-budget kitchen from the mid-90s. Terrible.

As much as I criticize the EFF for their military style top-down leadership, they do dare to challenge the pro-capitalist ANC. A party that has betrayed the working class since 1994. Nelson Mandela was a great freedom fighter, but he started the betrayal of the ANC by following capitalism instead of socialism. Because of Mandela, the ANC became a capitalist party, the very thing they opposed before 1990. The ANC followed the same path of many national liberation parties, they abandoned socialism for capitalism. Malema and his EFF are the first anti-capitalist force in he South African parliament since the end of Apartheid.
PS: The South African ''Communist'' Party is not revolutionary or socialist. This party is a tool of the ANC and a empty shell!

I agree, fully, with your comment, Malema represent a top-down leadership, however, he did not have an experience as a proletariat and his background is from the nationalist views of the ANC. But, as it always happen in nature, he realised, after his dispersal from the ANC youth league, that the real solution for black South African masses is socialism and/or ultimately communism (this is just my opinion as I have been always observing the situation in the post-apartheid SA)
The SACP are opportunists and anarchists, and I think their time as communists is over; there is no more Chris Hani, Joe Slovo, etc. What we see and know now, as black South Africans, about Marxism-Leninism, is not the true reflection of communism but we only see a group of opportunists riding on the "gravy train" provided by the current leadership of the ANC. They are so entrenched into opportunism and act similarly to "Stalinists", and they think the black masses of South Africa don't see them or rather know nothing about communism The most amazing thing is that they don't even see their own contradictions and betrayals of communism as pro-capitalists under the leadership of Dr Blade Nzimande, so it seems. How on earth could a staunch communist dance, share wisdom, sleep and dine with a pro-capitalist ANC, against the suffering proletarians and their families and against the principles of the pure philosophy of Marxism Leninism? In "Bourgeois and "Proletarians", the first section of the Communist Manifesto, Karl Marx wrote: "The executive of the modern state is but a committee for managing the common affairs of the whole bourgeoisie." Therefore, together with the ANC and COSATU, they are the managers of new "neo-apartheid" which is fit to be destroyed by the likes of Julius Malema and other socialist groups that will emerge from South Africa.

  • @eddiemankeyi253

No the SACP spokesperson doesn't have a point. The determination of the amount is so simple we know all unrelated security upgrades such as chicken ran, cattle kraal, swimming pool etc. even Mr Zuma himself knows the cost of those things, I mean it was his idea. The issue here is that Mr Present doesn't admit that he unduly benefited from the upgrades. He talked nonsense about Minister of police who must determine whether or not he should pay and other processes which may not exceed the public protector's report under the constitution. So Mr President must first agree and apologize that he unduly benefited, then he negotiate with Public protector as to how much must he pay and tell the people when he is going to pay back the money. END OF STORY!
