THE MEANING OF THE WORD 'PAUBAYA' - own opinion. When I first heard this song akala ko pinapaubaya mo na yung taong mahal mo sa taong mahal nya talaga, ang tanging nais lamang na i-portray ng kanta. But, after watching this (Moira, pointing upward signifies the Most High, God up there) I realized that, PAUBAYA, pinapaubaya ko na sa Kanya. The selfless and humble surrender of everything to Him, the Lord our God and savior. It is not your battle anymore, you know that you can't do this alone, but with Him. Ang tanging hiling ay ang paghilom ng mga sugat na dulot nang pagka-ubos na tanging Siya lamang ang makapagpapahilom.

When Julia said "sorry napagod ako,sorry nawala ako" & "di kita mahanap noon" I felt it now. I have my Highschool sweet heart I met him 2016 he's the reason why I have a relationship with God now. But he's also the reason why I'm struggling sometimes. We choose not to be in a relationship yet because we want to be stable first in all aspects of life. We update each other but not everyday, because we're both busy since I am already working(college undergrad) and he is fresh grad. I am always there when he's struggling. I don't even wanna share my struggles to him kase he can't even handle his own he always overthink & feel pressured. Naisip ko dahil siguro bunso sya. He sometimes give me assurance pero parang unti unti di ko na sya nakikitang makaka sama ko sa altar. Kase di pa nya nabubuo yung sarili nya, wala pa syang paninindigan at parang wala pang plano sa buhay. Nasa punto na ko na hindi ako nanghihinayang sa years na nag iintayan kame, kase I've already prepare my heart na kung di man kame sa dulo ok lang kase God will give me the best man I deserved. To my mahiwaga sana sa panahong nahanap mo na yung sarili mo, nasa tabi mo paden ako. Never in my life, I had imagined that I will do this "PAUBAYA" to my bestfriend-- father of my son-- my love.. the one that I married 4yrs ago! I know Im pretending to be strong, when I "paubaya" him to the woman he is with right now. I gave him a choice to fight for us, but he never did. It's very heavy. This feeling inside me, it's all shattered, wounded. Everything is aching. My heart, I can feel it. It's wounded. And I want it to stop. 🥺 My soul is lost. 1 year after this video was released. We broke up. I cried my heart out while watching this. Word for word, that's what also happened to us. I watched it again as soon as I heard that they got married this year. That painful memory with him choosing the one he married now over me, came back instantly. It's vague. According to the actor who played as the Priest, When they are going to shoot the last scene ' which is the girl apolozing' the director asks almost all of the crew to gou outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broked up. There no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of this two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video.
