Yesterday, I passed the exam with 100% score. I've been using Databricks at work and did lot of prep from various sources. At least 50% of the questions are from these 2-part videos series. Just one correction for Q8's answer - Manager concerned about the cost and ensure the query doesn't cost the organisation any money beyond the first week. There are actually only 4 options in the exam. Your answer (cannot ensure..) is not there in the exam. I've marked the answer as - Set the query's refresh schedule to end on a certain date in query scheduler. I got 100% score, so I assume my answer is correct. I think we might be able to set the end schedule using the Quartz Cron Syntax (I didn't try it though)

Question 9 : Isn't option C right answer here? We need the new new notebook to be run first . So original task has to be dependent on the new task not the other way around?
Option C says "then add the original task as a dependency of the new task" this means original task has to run first. Dependency vs dependent. What you said is correct for option B not C.

I'm curious whether I can anticipate comparable questions for the Databricks Data Engineer Associate (V3) certification, as I encountered difficulties when attempting to enroll for (V2) examination. Or were these questions merely provided as sample questions for the second version (V2)?

Think some of the answers in this video do not match with the sample test provided by Databricks. For instance, the answer to question 7 in the Databricks sample test is to increase the cluster size (instead of auto stop feature). Likewise i'm also a bit skeptical about the answer for question 9 in this video because the question states that the new task should be run "prior" to the original task. So how can the new task be a dependency on the original task when it needs to run before it?! Could you please clarify just do that we are not misled.
Sample test questions and real questions are not the same, they are different. I mentioned that in the videos as well, they look the same but they change a small detail. Regarding the question you are asking check the comments please, already answered this in the comments once.
Actually the wording in the very ambiguous. The word 'of' used is wrong. They should have used 'on' or 'for'. There is no way to understand what their intention is here.

Question 6. Confused between serverless feature and auto stop feature Serverless feature minimize the running time and after job completion it will stops and same thing is done by auto stop also Right? Please help with these two options
Serverless means no need to configure the cluster or warehouse the databricks itself will do all the management of the compute as per requirement. Autostop means the name itself says to stop automatically that means when the cluster is idle for some time say 30 minutes it will automatically stop to reduce cost. Hope you got it

I have the same problem as you when I took the exam V3, So I failed. I got 69%, but passing marks are 70%.

Just one doubt,why can't the answer of Q-21 be a view? Its also saying the data entity should be created from couple of tables
In the question, it is mentioned that it also must be saved to a physical location, so Table will be the correct answer.

Regarding Q28. RETURNS clause is optional for SQL UDF. Data type will be derived. So D also works.

databricks is already kinda serverless, everything is managed. You have to implement auto stop to reduce cost.
