Hey, the steps are correct. I recently got another voucher for a 75% discount; I am planning to give the Spark developer exam. They may have stopped giving 100% discount vouchers at the moment.

@@manalin607 Thank you for watching the video. 3 months is enough time for anyone to prepare for this exam. Even though SQL is a good start, you would need to upskill from SQL and gain knowledge on building pipelines on Databricks with Python. I would recommend booking the exam in advance; this would give you a deadline to prep for. You can always reschedule 3 days before the exam date. Hope this helps!

Is there anyonne who knows the differences between V2 and V3 versions of this exam? As far as I saw on internet for sure there's no more neither streaming nor AutoLoader part, but I found out that maybe also the Databricks SQL is absent in the V3
V3 is the new version of the exam. I think they have updated the curriculum, please follow the latest one, as I remember they are planning to discontinue v2
@@AnujSyal Yeah at the end I got the V3 certification, just one tip for whoever gonna read this and wants to take the exam: following the Databricks Academy course for the cert is ok but you need to integrate with some additional lessons (also from Yt it's ok) about DatabricksSQL (try to learn as much as possible about the SQL Endpoints) and I suggest also to take some practice tests on Udemy as you already suggested in the video. Good luck to everyone willing to take the cert, now I'm heading to the professional one!

This exam is proctored, so you will have to give this in your home with a webcam on. There is a person who is proctoring this exam via web cam

Yes indeed, they have now discontinued v2. If you are planning for the exam, look at v3
