@@Deathmare235i think agent smith offers more in terms of a moveset then neo. He can fight like neo, clone himself, fly, turn into different people, and shoot guns (like neo). Also in the actual movies as good as they are neo was a bit one dimensional. Agent smith also a bit linear. But man if you didnt get chills whem he came on screen

They probably exaggerated his proportions to not scare kids cause this is still a t for teen game and jason isnt like everyone else on this game...he is a serial killer. So they probably decided to make him more cartoony to fit the style.
They also probably picked it to better reflect his tank role and show that he is basically a brick house that just eats up damage without stopping.
Honestly i love the design cause even tho he is different from everyone else he still somehow "fits" since he was going to stand out anyway as a literal slasher villain.
I mean, they already had Arya Stark in the game, even if the cartoony artstyle, it was never meant solely for kids

The reason Jason looks as he does is actually moreso that he's based on the Comics of "Friday the 13th"! WB doesn't own the rights to Jason (making him the first 3rd party in MvS technically), but they DO own the rights to "Friday the 13th" comics as a series! So they based his design moreso on his Comics, which has him WAY more over the top (Like the stuff he does in the comics in insanely stylized.) Ontop of that, Look up "Jason X", who is another form of Jason but from Space. He's built like Luther from Umbrella Academy in that LOL. But yeah, it's really just it being based on the Comics and most are used to his Movie iteration (Which is what Mortal Kombat based their design on!)
WB have distribution right, not only the comic (via new line) since 93. Look it up

They went with the "Jason is built like a brick shithouse" portrayal of him in the later movies for the build. The chain around his neck is straight from the third movie.

I think they changed Jason’s apnearance to match the goofy tone of the game. They didn’t want themes to clash so they didn’t make him scary or realistic. They chose to make him a goofy meme version and I like it tbh.

Cap, bugs got wayyyy nerfed from the first couple months of the beta, unlike Jake’s busted hitboxes and his free down air that literally gifts 3 hits of damage plus the damage from colliding with walls. Jake was the most tilting character to play against besides maybe Harley
@@rhettsumner5127 yeah, he got nerfed because everyone was abusing him in pro and tournament play. He was undoubtedly THE best character in the game and he wasn’t difficult to learn at all.
There’s a REASON behind nerf. Jake wasn’t an issue until AFTER bugs wasn’t the top dawg anymore.
I always get so happy when Jev uploads.

Okay so this is my theory on why Jason is so jacked. He haven’t seen Jason in a cartoon type for like bugs bunny before, besides the Killer Puzzle mobile game, and he had the exact same build. So my guess is that they want Jason to look like that to show to younger kids that Jason is supposed to be intimidating and strong. Idk that’s my guess.
