HOOFFOOT is a large format instrumental rock/jazz fusion group from Malmö, Sweden. With exquisite teamwork the 6-8 musicians navigate through seas of sound carrying the listener from pleasant harbors of melody and into the unholy waters of mad improvisation.
For the jazz man, tired of the tidy sounds of modern recordings, HOOFFOOT is a breeze from the past. In the 70s jazz used to be evil as performed by e.g. Weather Report and Soft Machine.
For the rocker, HOOFFOOT is an ear opener, showing that Miles Davis lives right next door to Black Sabbath.

I've been blown away by their album and it's an amazing piece of prog and fusion. Given their album isn't even 40 minutes long and this performance is considerably longer, I wondered if they could pull it off, and they certainly can. I can't believe live footage of this band exists. Plus I love how diverse the ages of the band members are ranging from their 20s to their 50s.

That crowd response was certainly very enthusiastic and who can blame them? To see a new band cranking out this kind of quality music every bit as good as the '70s acts they were obviously inspired by, no wonder the response.
