Yes, that would be cool... I had one ordered and it was scheduled to arrive over a week ago. I am going to contact Amazfit to see if there are any updates on the shipment.
Okay, so I've received the Balance yesterday, and maybe you could answer four questions I have since i couldnt find it anywhere. 1. I got the zepp os 4.0 now, but i can't find this battery manager you have there ( where you can see the battery usage, at 2:00) 2. When having a workout, can i somehow switch to the watchface on Balance? Anything I do is just pausing the workouts :( 3. Where the hell can I find the sound setting for alarm? It's only vibrating without sound for me. 4. Everytime I wake up, the watch is still in bedtime mode ( even without schedule set) and in the morning I have to switch it off, shouldn't that be automatic somehow? Many thanks for reading this, maybe replying to this, and imyreally appreciating your work, sir :)
And at 10:20 you're saying it's not possible to confirm the selection with the crown, not sure if someone here already wrote it, but there's a button mode, where pushing the crown will select the app without touching the screen and bottom button is a back button :)
You're experiencing some strange errors and that is for sure, sorry. If you mute the Amazfit Balance, nope, it will just vibrate for the alarms. As for the bedtime mode staying one, nope, I have not seen that error. Workouts: try swipping to the left to return to the watchface during a workout
@@TheManWithTwoWatches tried to swipe left and right during the workout, left " music" middle screen are the data, swipe right "pause, finish"... No way to go back to watchface only when finishing the workout 😢
Bummer! I no longer have the Amazfit Balance. I'll need to ask my friend, Jared, to go on a walk with me and I can answer your questions in real time with another short video. What other questions to you have?
I ran a few more tests and... yes, Amazfit is more accurate during a one-mile walk than the OnePlus Watch2 when both timepieces are compared to an Apple Watch 9.
One plus has a 2R version which is cheaper right now going for 170$. It lacks the sapphire crystal front and steal chassis but it is brighter at 1000 nits. The big selling point of them are wear OS. If you prefer good android integration and need apps like Google maps, gmail, phone calls, messaging, NFC and playing music it is the best deal for 170.
@TheManWithTwoWatches where does the 2.9 number come from? it is oddly accurate. 2r also strangely enough seems to have better hr accuracy compared to 2. Maybe still not at the level athletes might prefer.
Sorry, I made this video 8 months ago. Was the 2.9 number about the heart-rate accuracy variable or GPS accuracy? When it comes to heart rate accuracy, yes, the Amazfit Balance is far more accurate than the OnePlus Watch2. OnePlus is sometimes off by 20 or 40 beats per minute. Whereas, when I compare the Balance to an Apple Watch, yeah, it is within single digits of an accurate heart rate measurement.
@@chopmail2862 Yeah, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic is about 11% better than the Galaxy Watch5 Pro and that is is more like 10.79% better. Samsung has been slacking with their wearables and their smartring is going to be a huge disappointment when the Ultrahuman Ring Air already has nearly two years more experience in the ring wearable realm. Oh yeah, and then there are the Finnish, those folks over at ŌURA Ring will soon reach six years of finger-technology. I may be testing my last Samsung wearable during Q2-2024. The video with an update about this Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic should go live this Saturday or Sunday. If you have any particular questions, YES, please type them in the next 88 hours.
@@TheManWithTwoWatches you should test it in activities such as walking or climbing stairs to understand how quickly (after 3-10 sec or never) it understands the change in heart rate. Thanks
Sorry, I no longer have the Balance, but I did upgrade to the T-Rex 3. I'll include such activities in a future video. Thank you for the ideas and... Happy Holidays and an early Happy New Year 🥳 🍾 🧧 🎍☃️
Testing the Google Pixel 2.0 would be a waste of my time. I looked at one for about three minutes at a BestBuy Store or Target, cannot recall witch brick & mortor. And after 188 seconds, nope! It looks the same and I disliked the bubbly look of the Pixel Watch ver. 1.1. It was slow, horrible battery life, and the watch was connected to the Fitbit Realm as an after thought. If a smartwatch cannot last four days with AOD (always-on display), sorry, not really interesting in testing it over more than 11 days.
Over seven months later and... not only did I decide to skip the Google Pixel 2, but also the Pixel 3. They advertise 24 hours of battery life and than means that real-life battery of the Pixel 3 is closer to 18 hours, no thank you Google.
Just note that the always on color lit background on the Amazfit uses more power than the black background one on the Oneplus. You may have done better to find one for the Amazfit that had a similar black background.
Excellent absolutely liked indepth review and comparison with practical usage , i was buying one plus 2 but shifting to Balance , am i doing it right ( needs battery power) 😅
Glad you liked my review. Yes, the Balance is an excellent choice and one of the reasons I continue to buy Amazfit watches, and review them. The Balance lasted me a solid 4 to 8 days depending on how many GPS workouts I tracked.
Fantastic overview! Love the real world comparisons as well. I've oft been that crazy guy wearing two watches so I can compare them too, haha. One question about the Amazfit that I can't seem to get answered anywhere.... Are there any Analog watch faces on the Balance that stay "on" (in a dimmed mode preferred) when AOD is set to on? I much prefer my watch to look consistent vs switching from an Analog face, for example, to a small digital clock when in the AOD mode. I can do that with certain watch faces on my Galaxy Watch 6 - for example, where the Analog face will still be visible even when not being used and in the dim AOD mode. When I touch to wake, the face becomes more clear and detailed, but it is the same face and not a switch. Any insight you have on that would be appreciated.
Yes, there are several analog watches that utilize the AOD features of the Amazfit Balance, Cheetah Pro, T-Rex 2, and the Falcon. I have another video coming out about Amazfit watches and I will make sure to mention that cool, yet dim, feature for watch faces. Glad you liked my review video 🤠
Where i live Amazon is offering both for same price, and after watching your video, i wanna go for Amazefit Balance despite having oneplus phone. Would like your final say in the matter though. Amazefit or 1+. You choose for me
Thanks for the comparison I intend to ask a question regarding the heart sensor and accuracy. Is there a clear difference between watches? If I ask you for a point on 10 How much will you give for the two watches?
The Amazfit Balance is more consistently accurate than the OnePlus Watch 2.0. Now, if you can sleep soundly and workout for two hours knowing your heart-rate is roughly 10 to 20 beats off here and again, sure, the OnePlus Balance could be a great deal...
I owe a balance but I miss keyboard feature. Sometimes it would be useful, probably more often for me than I expect as I dont like to have my smartphone in the pocket while Im gardening or doing some DIYs. Is it wortk to swap Balance for OP W2? Is the battery a big problem in daily use? I didnt used to charge the watch every few days but It seems to charge quite fast😅 Which is more pleasant to use in overall? Are there any usefull apps for Kayak maniac, sailor etd on wear os?
I was averaging a good 3 to 7 days of battery life with the Amazfit Balance. I gave it away nearly two months ago, sorry... I would still recommend it over the OnePlus Watches :)
I went for oneplus cause i want to try for the first time wear os this time with an improved battery life, I chose it mostly for apps and wear os feature, but I'm also interested in heart beat and calories for some soft training, is it so bad in accuracy? thanks
AOD comes with each watch face designed for the Amazfit watches and then Amazfit has five watch faces designed by their Dev. Team to use as defaults. Would it help if I made a video just about AOD & watchfaces as it pertains to the Amazfit smartwatches, eh?

The Venu 3 is quite the watch, but so is the Amazfit Balance and they just added more features! I am working on another video for the Balance this week. You'll also save nearly $200 by not getting the Venu 3 and going with the Balance.
I actually decided on Coros Pace 3, Oura Ring and Apple 9 on my other wrist and the Amazefit Helio Ring is coming out in two weeks and getting that also. I’ll be double wristed and double fingered.
Excellent choices. I still wear my COROS Pace 3 now and again, even though I have the Vertix 2S as well. As for for the Amazfit Helio ring, yes, I hoping to get one too. So, are you wearing your Pace 3 on one wrist and your Apple Watch 9 on the other?

Thanks for this review it helped me a lot and loved your detailed video of watch . Keep up the good work pal ❤👍 best wishes for your channel🎉
Hooray! I am happy you are satisfied with your purchase. When I first began reviewing Amazfit gadgets I was concerned and over the past two years, yes, their upgrades continue to improve features, consistency, and health-tracking accuracy.
Awesome video , can you can video about amazfit gts 4?
Sorry, I don't have the model.
Great video as always. I wish Amazfit would send you a Helios ring for testing.
Yes, that would be cool... I had one ordered and it was scheduled to arrive over a week ago. I am going to contact Amazfit to see if there are any updates on the shipment.
Can you set it to confirm the selection option by pressing the crown in Amazfit Balance?
Nope, not at this time. The Cheetah Pro has the selection ability using the digital dial, so does the COROS Pace 3, and the APEX 2, and the VERTIX 2.
Yes you can, there is button mode. Crown for enter, lower button for back.
Yes, on the Cheetah Pro, but not with the Amazfit Balance. The TicWatch Atlas has the same error, the digital dial does not have a selector - lame!

Amazfit has the more accurate readings overall. The OnePlus is too inconsistent with its health metrics.
