The 2023 NFL season shouldn’t lack drama, Oscar-worthy theater and excitement. Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet. The Kansas City Chiefs are aiming to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions in 19 years, and Tom Brady haters don’t have to worry about him ruining their team’s season anymore.
Oh, and on top of that, eight NFL clubs - exactly one-quarter of the league’s 32 teams - have revealed special throwback jerseys that will be returning here in the 2023 season.
The Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos have revealed alternate helmets for the 2023 season. But eight NFL clubs are taking it a step further by wearing complete throwback uniforms for selective games in the 2023 NFL season.
Fans who love trips down memory lane will enjoy every bit of the “throwback” these uniforms have to offer in 2023. So, how do all eight returning NFL throwback jerseys stack up against each other? Time to rank ‘em from worst to first…

The Browns used to be good. Fans who are in there 50’s and up remember when they were good. The new Browns uniforms aren’t “from the good old days” they never wore a white helmet. Nor had the numbers like that.

They’re just the same. I did a side-by-side comparison, they’re the same but with darker purple and lighter yellow and a more simplified helmet.

Vikings need to ditch the flat paint on the helmets. It's not even as dark as the original. The Pats, BUCS, and Seahawks should be mandated by the NFL to go back to the original unis. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Red Helmet falcons as well. Just an opinion.

As a lifelong Iggles fan, I do not like the Midnight green. Love the Kelly green! That will be the primary uni next year. The players love them.

Those SHOULD be their throwbacks, with the newer, streaking buffalo logo over the red field for their normal ones, all day. Those helmets from the four SB, 90s heyday definitely looked 100 times sweeter than those white shits they rock now.

When I saw the Vikings week 1 it took me till the 4th quarter to realize they were even wearing the throwbacks, they look almost the same as the normal ones
The Jets should go back to the Super Bowl jerseys and use the "legacy jerseys" as their alternate, and the Eagles should wear the Kelly greens as their primary and use the white helmets and jerseys they wore in the early 70's

The dates on some of the throwback games were wrong & the seahawks wore their throwbacks twice. They just played the Cowboys in the blue & green. Also having the Oilers at #6 is just down right a crime! Top 2 not less!

Seattle and Philly are top two. The Titans throwback is probably 4th behind the Jets jersey. The Patriots and Bucs jerseys don’t do it for me. The Browns jersey is the worst on this list to me.

As a Seahawks fan, I am overjoyed about the throwbacks. I just bought a Kenneth Walker jersey in the throwback style. The little inner tag with the Kingdome is a cool touch. The Brown's all white unis actually look pretty good. It is different and I hope they keep it. And the Titans sporting the Oilers jerseys against the Texans just seems like a middle finger to the city of Houston lol. In all fairness though, the Oilers jerseys looked good too
