These are a lot of fun. The most fun I’ve gotten out of mods are the Singleplayer Mission mods. There’s a Kursk mission that when added to the long distance mod by the same author, makes for an amazing Kursk experience on Hard.
Hotmod needs WAAAAY more attention. The mod alone feels like a standalone game, and with west81 it feels like you get a full spin off game to a full game. All thats "Missing" is a campaign.
Thanks for the info. I have an interest in learning how to do this. There is an old board game I loved and it has many scenarios with it, and I would love to make them mods and shed the old hex grid boards. But first I need to spend time learning!

you could have a multiplayer system that allows a bunch of battles to take place giving people battles to fight in someone hearts of iron games making the scale bigger. or a total war single player kind of experience lol
I recommend the twice over vistula mod. Great stable mod, adds a ton of immersive, realistic, historical unit to the Eastern theater (Russian specific units and German ones including SS). units look fantastic, the research tree is well structured and makes sense. I honestly prefer this mod over the over the top mac and CE mods, that just adds a massive amount of enemy, killing fps and micro management.. I guess everyone has different tastes.
I really like your video as I just purchased the whole CTA series during the winter sale and I was looking for good mods to add. Unfortunately, it seems some of the mods are missing or changed. I post my results in trying to find them so maybe someone can point me in the right direction or help others find the updated ones for themselves. I couldn't find the "improved first-person valour" mod. The "Battlefield - Honor & Despair" has been updated to "Battlefield 1.4.8 (realistic battleground restoration)". The Bright-colored Graphics Style has been updated as "Random Weather Button". I could not find the "Legends of War" mod. The Steam search function also changes the over time period to 1 week, especially if a search found nothing, so be aware of that.

Currently debating on whether to purchase CTA Gates of Hell: Ostfront from the Steam sale, so nice to know there are lots of great looking mods available. BUT how does this game compare to Assault Squad 2 which I already own? Just more the same or is this game more immersive, more enjoyable, etc. Any thoughts?

this guys, this game its what all company of heroes players, or any ww2 rts game players needed at some point, felt they need , direct controll, i swear my rts ww2 game thirst was complete with this game, add the fps mod, there you go, a game 10 times better than Enlisted.
anyone know if theres a mod that gives more detailed information on fieldguns or tanks in conquest mode? would love to be able to actually compare artillary without researching and testing
Has the improvement first person mod been updated to play the last versione of the game? Or is it currently working? Then Are there mods for liberation dlc? Are there any big improvments of the game or they just added new skins and fanctions more or less?

The best one is Valour. It’s still updated and adds lot of things.Some models are pretty bad but in general very good Mod.
