One of the best tools for my large garden with lots of trees. Not cheap but very well designed and built. Highly recommended. Very easy starting and deals well with most things I put in it except wet grassy plants which clog it up if I don't blend them with other stuff. Fibrous plants like flax and cabbage tree leaves don't really chip up but just shoot through however that's only a minor issue.
I have one of these and love it. Time to do and oil change and get the blades sharpened, which I have found instructions for in the manual. My question is for a general clean (including inside the chute of the flywheel), how do you clean it? A brush, hose or compressor? There are obviously dried bits of vegetation that are still there from its previous use but I'm aware engines and water don't mix. Thanks
Thanks for your feedback - great to hear you love your C7. You are best to clean the inside of the machine using your garden hose through the inlet chute while the machine is running (outlet chute closed). That way the water will not go into the bearings. Alternatively you could use compressed air as you have suggested.

Why is a turning nut? On my one I bought yesterday has a nut that can’t be turned by hand

Does the shoot come off for transportation?
Hi Dan, the inlet chute is easy to remove for transport, just 2 bolts to undo - great when you need to put it into a small car for example.
