It's 1983 - I'd left school and my Dad's FZ50 is now insured for me! BJR 161X was my steed - bazzing around at 29mphish - spent a LOT of that time fiddling with plugs and points to get her to run properly or even start but 'adventures were had'!!! Some years later KJR 191X became her spiritual successor - a Ford Cortina - which, if anything, ran WORSE than the Fizzy50 - I do pick-em!
Lovely story. I recall your comment a couple of videos ago. There’s somthing about the simplicity which is hard not to love. Great fun to ride around on!
Fabulous, loved the backing track. I saw that band live back in the 40's when they toured elevators and shopping malls all around Australia. Keep up the good work lads.
Very impressive. You not only finished a project but also squeezed in a trip around the world. That's impressive. I think I just said that, so never mind. Not to say that it isn't impressive. Anyway, you get the idea. Presumably.
I would love it if you were to talk me through the project and what you're doing and why you doing it. I don't find a time lapse very engaging. Keep up the good work on the super Rover, awesome project.
Nice! I'm thinking of bringing a go-kart back to life, maybe I should record that and upload it.. I do feel seeing you completely dismantled it, you should have gone a bit further in cleaning it up and painted the frame properly and maybe clean up all the other parts, make it look new :).
Do it! I think it would have been a shame to loose the patina, there’s also a line you have to draw with projects, if we went that far other builds would be delayed etc!
Nice work. Mudguard paint has survived well. You should remove spring from rear shock and paint that too. Assume you've heard of Evaporust? Probably very useful for all your projects. Keep up the entertaining work 👍
It came up well! Definitely more bits to do, but it was nice to bring it back! I have heard of it, I would love some but the amount I’d need may bankrupt me! Thanks for your support!

Brilliant. All the miles you covered as well and with such efficiency. 😁. It begs to be auctioned for charity. Happy Christmas to you, your wife and the indomitable Isaac. Al
In period, it competed with the Honda Express which actually did have pedals (moPEDs are supposed to have PEDals - but that requirement was replaced by an engine power choke sometime in the 70s) It was a MUCH nicer thing than the Express - but when you owned one, you found yourself wishing you'd really gone-the-whole-hog and gotten a Honda Cub which is a PROPER moped (and in 125cc form - a starship by comparison)
😂 I didn't realise this was you this morning, awesome little bike, didn't they used to call them fizzy? I've got several bikes mostly late 70s and early 80s, one 90s and one 2015 reg I got with 500 miles on its now on 12000 and I'm stripping the engine tuning and rebuilding
Listen, I know it's nice and functional currently... but have you considered putting a land rover body on it.
You’ve given the game away for part 2!
😂😂😂

Such a great era!
You guys get a lot done in week! Wow!
It took us about 3 days, but then the travelling filled up the rest of the week!

This is just a quick one. As I do that all the time on the other videos!

Love me some moped action. Can't believe you didn't set the montage to "Born to be wild" though.
Haha I couldn’t afford the copyright!!
I half expected you put an Aston Martin body onto that bike! 😂
That’s next week!
i almost choked on my food when i saw u two drive off on that little bike lol
Haha we tested the weight capacity for sure!
@@HudsonAutoFilms yh for sure haha,it would of been funny if u fell off, without hurting urself of course lol

Amazing isn’t it! Thanks Al, Merry Christmas and best wishes to you!
@ Thank you sir.
Well, that's different and fun!
☺️
Very interesting video thanks.
No problem! Glad you enjoyed:)
Looks good! You should have added pedals so it could pick up some speed 😂
Haha 😜

I think a bank of batteries and solar panels and wind gen would be a way forward for the garage and not forgetting a log burner 🤔
It’s funny you say that…I have a video coming in January where we address just that!
Must have cost you a fortune to take that bike to all those places. But a great investment for a great video.
It did cost a pretty penny. But well worth it, Donald loved it! Couldn’t get him off it!
Well done!
Thanks!
Haha! Brilliant! 👏⚡️😂
😎😎
Looking really good. Small engined bike are great fun to rip around on
It’s a great little thing!
Aye bikes
Glad you’re enjoying! Back on the 4x4 next week 😎
The closing text I thought for a second said Hudson vato films lmao
Haha 🍻
Nice video but would've loved to hear it running.
Sadly the audio got corrupted :/

The Fizzy was the Fs1e.
@SmR8008 ah yeh that's right 👍🏻
Maybe you should actually do an epic road trip on the Suzuki?
I’m not sure I’d be able to walk after
You should have stopped in Nova Scotia for lobster... 🙂
Next time 😎😂
😂😂😂 brilliant
😎😂
what happened to the Aston RV Project?
There’s been a video out on it every week for a couple of months! They’re all on the channel :)
Are you legally allowed to do a project like this without Sam Lovegrove or Allan Millyard? ;-)
😂😎
Haha fun but needs a V8
I haven’t measured but I reckon it would fit
Do some burnouts with it
Haha maybe next week
I wish you’d get rid of that bloody claw hammer, you’re not removing nails😉🤣
The rubber one wasn’t doing the trick!
No such thing as free, a part of your soul was exchanged for this, notice the design of the rims?… 👹☠️😅
🫨🫨 I thought I’d been feeling different!
