This was my main concern, the challenge of getting our braids out of these locs.
Loved this video so much I bought the hair and did it myself. However, this style took me hours to do😩 pulling my hair through the locs was a task and I braided my hair small.
Yes girl I did this the first time I got my hair. Now I just do cornrows straight back and space out the hair. Still looks nice and is faster and painless.

Same here. I was really disappointed with the hair. It wasn't as flexible or loose in the middle to pull my hair through. I ended up having to take them out and buy more hair. I guess the manufacturer doesn't make all packages the same. Bummer!! I really wanted this look.

This was so helpful.
I'm trying this style finally next week. The parting for the braids takes me the longest. Imma try to wash my hair with these in too so they last at least a month.

I love it!! It seems like it would be hard to install the crochet in the back where I can't see if the braid is completely hidden inside, but I'll give it a try! Can you get on the water with these and wash your hair with them still installed?

Going to try the wrapping technique with the locs . How many inches do you have in? It looks longer that 12”.
Its the 12"locs and I love the way the length looked on me.
