I know this video is a few hours late from my usual upload time. I was having some technical difficulties that I had to work through but it is finally ready for you all! I hope you enjoy the back to back vlogs :)
Hi, Michelle!! I'm a self contained fifth grade teacher here in Kissimmee, Florida and I want you to know I really enjoy your enthusiasm and tips. They really help me!!
Ohh so fun I love ❤️ how you are showing your true personality I am only in elementary school 🏫 but you inspire and interest me so much You do spark ⚡️ minds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ms. Feree I am so happy for you and you inspire me to become a teacher at such a young age. You are a amazing roll model and You became a teacher because you truly do love kids. Even when you are exhausted you just plow your way there the week. Keep on making me smile, I love your videos. I am a tutor my self and you are so relate able. I could go on and on about how great you.
i’ve always bounced back and forth between what career i wanted, and since i’m about to graduate high school the pressure is on. i’m so relieved that i finally decided that i wanted to be a teacher and inspire the minds of young children! i can’t get enough of your videos. the organization and arrangement of your classroom make me feel so excited about my future!! ❤️
+Pocketful of Primary Michelle , You kept on trying until you succeeded at last and that's what it's about . School is challenging regardless if you are a student or staff but when you the teacher give students something to look forward to it helps the students more over in making the best of their time in school . Keep smiling beautiful . - Dwight
I just found your channel and I am so glad I did! I'm currently an education major (EC-6th grade) and I've been super inspired to watch teacher videos and come up with little lesson plans on my own even though I don't graduate for at least another two years.
Michelle, it just occurred to me that you haven’t mentioned suffering from migraines in a long time. I hope this means you haven’t been suffering from them as often as you were in your previous grade level/school.
For the crayon, I have kiddos who like to draw on the floor and I discovered that hand sanitizer takes it RIGHT OFF! Hope this helps. Love your videos!
My mom is a teacher! I love watching your videos! Ever since kindergarten I have wanted to be a teacher with my mom! ❤️❤️ I love your videos so much! ❤️
I eat and teach A LOT at the end of the year. My kids just get used to it. I wait until the actual teaching is done and eat while I walk around and help them if they need it. Hang in there!
Something you can do when you change seats, is make a diagram and put it on the smart board! Put little boxes for desks, an put your students name inside! To make sure your students know how it’s placed, you can put your desk and other noticeable things in your classroom on that diagram as well. The good news is that you can reuse the diagram for each class and also if you use that seating again! Also, it’s self sufficient for your kids. Love you!!
Crayon off floor and wobble stool, dry magic eraser. Everyone in Japan uses this and works like a charm. Also dry magic erasers also get pencil off of desks etc. Wet magic eraser gets marker off.
Looks like a super jam packed fun but tiring week! I appreciate what you said about Booster as my husband works for them! Hope your fun run this week is super entertaining!
Love this video. I wish we had boosterthon when I grew up. In my school we did boring things like spellathon. I love fundraisers that keep the kids active. I hope your school gets what they need in terms of diverse books in classroom libraries. Reading was and still is one for my favorite things to do. I love Annapolis. It is one of my favorite cities to visit. The naval academy is an amazing school rich in tradition. I love the idea of “spring organizing” your classroom. Keep doing you!!
Hello lovely, I’ve just subscribed to your channel and I wanted to let you know that I love your content. You are showing what it’s really like to teach everyday and it’s great to see inspirational teachers sharing in this space. I hope you’re having a great year with your students. Happy Teaching Amy Louise Xoxoxo 🍎
Such a great video Michelle! I just LOVE all your videos. You are hilarious and so relatable. You've made me realize how much I want to reach my goal of becoming a teacher. ♥️
To make seating charts my teacher puts numbers on the desks and then she lets us pick a number out of a cup and we go to that number then she writes down all the numbers on a paper and we write our name next to number (although the numbers are in order to where the desk is like if it’s at the front of the room the numbers are close to the top of the paper etc.)
Thanks for sharing what teachers experience (the highs, middles, and lows!) & being so honest- wish I were half as brave as you are! I've used a Magic Eraser to remove pretty much everything from floors, walls, desks, and chairs within our classroom- even crayon, though never from our wobble stools. Gotta LOVE how spring affects our class environment and student behavior! My grandmother used to say that the purpose of teenage years is to make it easier for parents to let go of their babies...I suppose spring & the end of the year behaviors do the same for educators.😉 Hope you have a wonderful spring break!!
no she doesn't. Im sorry but ive been following for years and she can even do that in return. When i asked if she can follow my teaching page on Instagram. she didn't even reply when i got so many other followers from other youtube teachers.I get it were all teachers and were all busy but a follow back takes two seconds. I looked up to Michelle for years. thank for the support
I remember doing Boosterthon when I was in elementary school! We used to get little prizes for every level we completed in donations! It's crazy that they are still doing it! I'm a freshman in college, (I'm a double major in elementary and special ed) and I did Boosterthon over 10 years ago!
For the crayon, maybe you can go at it with a blowdryer first before trying to wipe it off? Since it's wax, I think it'll start to melt it off a little and loosen it.
For the crayon issue...use a BROWN PAPER SACK (you can also use paper towel) & WARM IRON. Place the sack over the crayon & then use the heat from the iron to gently melt the crayon. The wax will absorb into the paper sack/paper towel. Keep moving the sack/towel to a clean area until all of the wax is melted & you're able to clean up. I've used this on carpet & it works great. Good luck!
I don't know if my school is the only school who does this but... for 4th and 5th graders, If you get A's and B's for 3 grading periods, you get to go to Deep river waterpark for doing good. (Which I got and it's on the 6th.)
I went to the Navel Academy as a field trip to, it was fun. we went with the high school and got the Iron Rooster for lunch and the next week we went to the Annapolis State house and got Ice cream, lunch at multiple places I went to Mission BBQ with my cuz and we took a long walk and the teacher went in the middle of a bridge to take a picture. and ICECREAM
So I am not a teacher, not even a parent, and actually I prefer dogs more than kids....but I enjoy watching your videos,,,,lol. It keeps me informed on what goes on in schools these days. I don't remember my teachers having so much fun/extra stuff for us to do when I was in school.
we did the Boosterthon this year too and I have that same T-shirt. I love it because it is one that we can wear from now on because it doesn't say Boosterthon. I teach Special Education. grades k-2 and my students enjoyed going and doing the big run they had. All but one that we had to remove from the gym because that student decided to just take off on his own to run. LOL
I was just thinking, my school does something where at the beginning of each month we get some sort of type of tickets we get 21 of those and then each time we don’t have our homework or we get in trouble or something in the hallway then they have us roll the dice and that’s how many tickets we owe. I don’t know if that will work for you, but It works in my classroom.
Just came home from a trip to Maryland. You live in such a beautiful place! I love your organization. Do you use powerpoint to build all your worksheet and your tickets?
Believe it or not a big eraser does the trick. It melts the crayon for you to be able to wipe it up easier. Also bleach and a scrub brush but idk the schools protocol on harsh chemicals.
this is what crayola.com says to do: Spray the stained area with All Purpose cleaner and wipe with paper towels. If stain persists, dampen a sponge with warm water and liquid dish soap to work the area in a circular motion. Rinse with water. Repeat as needed.
For the crayon: heat up the area (you can use a lighter but I would use a hair dryer) that’ll melt the crayon and than you can just wipe it off with a cloth! 😀
with the tickets. when i was in elementary school we had a golden ticket table at lunch. our name would get drawn & at lunch we sat with the other kids who got drawn & we had board games to play. with receiving the tickets i can’t remember how we earned them.
I love this channel so much, I want to teach kindergarten when I get older and this channel is so amazing and inspirational to me! I love you!!!!!!-Anyae
I’m watching your video as I’m commenting and I love your videos so much I honestly love when you post and your the only TH-cam of mine that has the notifications on!!!

Try a magic Eraser for the crayon. They truly are magic!
I want you to be my teacher for forever
The blue T-shirt from Monday is really cute! I’ve had the same struggle with forgetting to give students their special birthday treat.

For the crayon on the stool/floor you can heat the wax up with a blow dryer the wipe away with wet wipe or paper towel.

That’s so cool the Booster Thon people also came to my school!
I Went there last year when i Was in fourth grade I hope your students had a fun because when i went i had fun
I’m old and old school! I still make seating charts with paper and pencil.
We had that in my school and my teacher has that shirt omg
I'm always looking for ways to adapt what you do for my high school special education students. Fun!
I remember doing Boosterthon when I was in elementary school! We used to get little prizes for every level we completed in donations! It's crazy that they are still doing it! I'm a freshman in college, (I'm a double major in elementary and special ed) and I did Boosterthon over 10 years ago!
Hey you are the best teacher ever
I also need a change throughout the year😆, so I change things in my classroom here and there too!
I love that field trip I went on it last year when I was in 4th grade so fun
For the crayon, maybe you can go at it with a blowdryer first before trying to wipe it off? Since it's wax, I think it'll start to melt it off a little and loosen it.
For crayon, I like Magic Erasers. Works great on walls. It should work well on wobble stools and the floor.
Crayon clean up:
Lay a paper towel on top of the crayon mess and use an iron to melt the wax. The paper towel will soak up the wax as it’s melting!
We did a boosterthan at my school too! I had a great time and you inspire me to
Do so many new things!😃🤗
I went to the Navel Academy as a field trip to, it was fun. we went with the high school and got the Iron Rooster for lunch and the next week we went to the Annapolis State house and got Ice cream, lunch at multiple places I went to Mission BBQ with my cuz and we took a long walk and the teacher went in the middle of a bridge to take a picture. and ICECREAM

I had the captions on while watching and when you said "put your positive pants on" the captions said "put your pasta pants on." LOL
we did the Boosterthon this year too and I have that same T-shirt. I love it because it is one that we can wear from now on because it doesn't say Boosterthon. I teach Special Education. grades k-2 and my students enjoyed going and doing the big run they had. All but one that we had to remove from the gym because that student decided to just take off on his own to run. LOL
Here in Massachusetts we do the Boosterthon as well lol, this year my grade gets to do the color run where they throw colorful powder stuff as you run
It is snowing here in Peoria omg it’s April omg it’s spring what
Alexus 123 Same but I’m in Chicago!!
annie mcdonut I’m in Chicago too! It’s crazy weather being 80 degrees one day then hailing and snowing the other
I know the science behind teachers being tired during early dismissals: you rush around cause day is short.
we watch videos and sovle thing in each video and it helps learn growth mindset and things like that
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.
My Birthday Is tomorrow, I am a high school special Ed student and I am on Spring Break.
Happy Birthday
I did the fundraise last year and I might do it this year
at my school we have to do state floats and i got Maryland
For the crayon mess you could blow it with a hair dryer so it gets hot and melts the crayons so you can wipe it of
I was just thinking, my school does something where at the beginning of each month we get some sort of type of tickets we get 21 of those and then each time we don’t have our homework or we get in trouble or something in the hallway then they have us roll the dice and that’s how many tickets we owe. I don’t know if that will work for you, but It works in my classroom.
Use a blow dryer and paper towels to clean the stool and floor! It works for regular wax so I'm sure it'll work for a crayon.
OMG I had this at my school! It’s soooooooooo fun..
Magic eraser for the crayon. I use it in my Sunday school class all the time.
Congrats on 200k!
Gosh, I miss these vlogs so much! 💙
Just came home from a trip to Maryland. You live in such a beautiful place!
I love your organization. Do you use powerpoint to build all your worksheet and your tickets?
Hair dryer and paper towel will remove crayon. Warm up the mess and wipe with paper towel
Try shaving cream to remove the crayon. I actually got that trick from you 💕 works wonders on cleaning desks...even food coloring!
This is a good trick.
use rubbing alchole it gets of crayon well for me so give it a try.
Your a great teacher
OMG your BOOSTERTHON T-shirt is on point! lol I'm wearing the same one today for our pep rally!
Thanks you for their own good
For the crayon; Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Came off for me when one of my students wrote all over our cement walls outside :)
I did boosterthon is was awesome! All of the teachers got those same shirts. My mom is on the PTO so she planned it.
Believe it or not a big eraser does the trick. It melts the crayon for you to be able to wipe it up easier. Also bleach and a scrub brush but idk the schools protocol on harsh chemicals.
