What visas are you guys on? Will this be the third entry to China in two weeks?
The roads look pretty good for such a remote area. The cloudy mountains give that otherworldly feel. I wish I could spend some time there to get away from it all.
I really enjoyed this hiking series. You guys earned a good rest 🙌

In fact, the northwest region of Yunnan (Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La) is divided into rainy season and dry season. The best time to travel is winter, which is the dry season. There are not so many clouds and rain, and it is easy to see the whole picture of each majestic peak and canyon. But in any case, safety is the most important thing. I wish you a happy trip.

I am afraid to your safety on the way of Tiger Leaping gorge because there is a proverb in hiking world,”Walk without looking at the scene, look at the scene without walking”
Next time, Attach the camera to your head or chest, and use trekking poles which are not used for older people and are your third or fourth legs.
The best time to hike Tiger Leaping gorge is in winter.

When you stand right in front of the huge mountain rigs that fade into the clouds and are surrounded by this endless wall of pure natural massiveness. You cannot help but wonder how trivial humans are to the Mother Nature. Such sublimity makes us feel awe of nature and hopefully leads us all to respect this planet more. Be humble is the philosophical takeaway I’m getting from seeing this. I can’t imagine how much awe I’d be in if I ever go there and see all this in person.

thanks for sharing, actually the view is already very good. the mountain on the other side looks intimidating, the cliff slope is steep, very high, with layers.. the size, the scale of the mountain is magnificent.. it is truly a display of a big mountain.

10:20 Even in the middle of the United States, we eat cicadas. Cicada Pie, Pesto Cicada Pizza, Tacos & Ice Cream. Look up "Eating cicadas became a thing" By Jim Meadows, June 13, 2024 and "Cicada: It's what's for dinner" by Melissa Klauda, 1May 26, 2011, cicadas dipped in chocolate for dessert. Pizza with one half topped with whole cicadas and pepperoni, the other half with cicadas alone. Spicy cicada stir fry and a pesto cicada pasta. The taste of a cicada is nutty and chewy with a slight crunch. Similar to eating dried fruit.

Just loved the authentic nature of the video... capturing the gripes and anxieties of travelling and experiencing the uncertainty of mother nature... bringing us along as spectators in our comfy sofas.
Just a side note for you... we have been unsubscribed, constantly and literally have to subscribe almost 10 times again just to keep getting notified. Same thing ges to many others youtubers that is visiting China too... Not sure why... it is an unfair algorithm.
No worries, die Hard followers will constantly resubscribe.... haha LOL 😅😅😅

Dear L&N, u made a right decision. There we're two young man dead in the tiger leaping gorge, because of the landslide on July 25.The southern China is always raining in the summer, there are a lot of nature disasters in the mountain of this area. Like: SiChuan province, Yunnan province, Guizhou Province ect.

Traditional Chinese people have a habit that when they have an appointment to handle important things, they always start to leave much earlier, and 99% of them will arrive early. For example, if they need to take a flight at 7 pm, they may leave home for the airport at 7 am, and it may only take two hours from their home to the airport. Although this is a bit of a waste of time, it also ensures that they will not miss the flight.
