I know how frustrating it is to have an EEG an no seizures to get the information needed. We always said a sure fire way to stop them is to have an EEG. Then as soon as we got home they come back. He handles his hospital stays so well despite them being yucky. Courageous guy right there! Hope you had a blast on your cruise!
It sucks that Landon has to go through all of this. But it makes him special even through everything that he is gone through. He always has a smile on his face and can always put a smile on my face.❤
I went thru this for 18yrs with my son! I feel for you. after 18yrs , he had a partial temporal lobe removal and now has been seizure free for over 20yrs. He's a resperitory therapist now and going back to become a physcian"s asst. I hope Landon comes out as well as my son has.
Hi Binghams, hope all is well with Landon, my hubby had brain surgery for temporal lobe epilepsy 29yrs, it worked! He hasn't had any fits for around 28yrs, there is a time of healing after the surgery in which fits are possible but its all worth it in the end. Wishing you a the best. From southern England. Xx

I was diagnosed at 16 with epilepsy and my son was diagnosed at 12 and here in our city in ontario we never got spoiled like you with all the snacks and food your so lucky hope things work out for you

I just got done doing a stay at the hospital for an EEG it was not 7 days it was 3 days it was supposed to be 5 but they let me out early it was hard for me being there just 3 days hope all goes well and you find answers. I have FND sizures so that's why I was there. Hope all goes well and that he is able to stay happy and positive. You great Landon keep up your great attitude that will help you a lot!
Hey Landon I’m 50 years old and I’ve had seizures all my life ranging from Grand mal to partial lobe seizures. I have a vegus nerve stimulator in my chest because like you I have epilepsy. You’re an inspiration!

I had to do a several EEGs the worst one i had was the sleep deprivation one had to be awake all night before it was only small too so was fun times for my mum 😂
Landon I got epilepsy when I was 19. It was august 15 2008 and I was interviewing my teacher for the school newspaper and I had a seizure and they called my mom and told her that your daughter just had a seizure and she said that they had the wrong person because my daughter doesn’t have seizure so they went to check and it was me . And then on October 22 2008 I wasn’t feeling well so I went to work with my mom and then I told her that I had a funny taste in my mouth and that I was stepping and then I fell to the ground and then I had a tonic clonic seizure. And then I had to do some tests and they found out that I have epilepsy so I take topamax for my seizure
my thoughts and prayers are with you all especially Landon. I hate to see anyone go through all these test. May God continue to hold you all close and may the blessing continue
I understand how he likes being in the hospital. Being waited on hand and foot. Free movies video games. Plus all kinds of food. I have had several video EEG's over the years. But as he knows there is also a down fall to being in the hospital. Can't go to the bathroom on your own. Being watched all the time. It's like your the special show of the week. Glad you keep smiling.

When I was in for my two week seizure study, I ended up watching 250 episodes straight of NCIS because it was the middle of the pandemic and no visitors, TVs, or anything was allowed in the hospital. There’s only so much free time a person can take. I also started waving at the cameras. :)

I have moist eyes......I just tuned into Lando's voice....he isn't a little boy anymore. I caught some bass in his voice; omg!, I had thought I was getting old when Turbo shot up to 10 feet tall. Love this family. (and Lando...no words needed).
I had one of those tests where I was in the Hospital a few days collected by seizure activity and I know how you feel it takes two many hair washes they get that paste off your hair. Love you guys

Oh I don't know if you have SciFi channel or not but there is a show called The Ark, sorta a cool show, parents might need to scope it out first
seizures suck. I hope that they get to solve them for you. they don’t have all the cool stuff they can do now when i was younger and thankfully i only had juvenile myoclonic epilepsy and was fortunate to grow out of it. I still get checked every few years. but haven’t had a seizure for a long time so i really wish you guys the very best and pray that the doctors find your fix to eliminate or give you very good results

I had to have electrodes on my head when I got tested for sleep apnea. I could not wait to shower when they came off!
