What in the World Is the Toyota MasterAce Surf?!?!

The 1990 Toyota MasterAce Surf is a vehicle that I have never heard of, prior to making this video. It is quite hilarious, and impressive with the amount of technology and versatility that can be found in it. It honestly made me smile and laugh more than any car I have been in for a long time, hence the title. What do you guys think of these more relaxed fun-oriented videos?
I love the video. I ran one for many years, perfect for a family of six going camping. I also had the ultra rare "wagon table" you could put up when the rear two rows of seats were facing each other. You thought it was pretty amazing but didn't even show half its tricks. All those skylights have built in sun blinds you can pull across so you don't have to be blinded by the sun from above. The centre pair of skylights unclip and can be lifted out for open topped motoring. The heating and ventilation system has separate controls in the back so the rear passengers can manage their own environment. With all the back seats folded you can easily carry 8 foot by 4 foot sheets of plywood or plasterboard and substantial pieces of furniture. They handle really well, are super manoeuvrable, and that one has 4WD so has quite good off road capability too.
This is better than Parker's, aka Porker, Mercedes S-class.

One of your best videos in a while
I was tempted to buy this when I saw it on Japanese Classics. I keep their inventory page open in a tab and refresh it every day lol. Such a cool beach cruiser akin to a VW Bus.
They were fantastic to go through. Very transparent about the vehicle and the whole process. I'd been following their facebook page for about a year before I decided to buy anything.
Love this van, you guys should review more stuff like this.
This is one weird van, but it's still cool. You'll hardly find features like this in a new 2017 or 2018 luxury car, with the exception of Bentley, Rolls Royce, and Maybach.
Oh man, I really want one of these. Not as bad as I want a Nissan Homy, but I'd really like to have a 4wd MasterAce with all of the cool JDM features.
I do currently have a US-spec version of this though. An '87 Toyota LE van.
I don't know what is you guys' favourite vehicle. But in our country 90-2020 Toyota TownAces are best selling wehicles 😂 and this model is a bit rare. Personally I love this vehicle ❤️ for the features of it and, it fits for the budget verywell
In USA.. The left hand Drive version is called Toyota Van LE
It's roof is chopped for sunroof and it's 4wd controls are buttons . In JDM it is gear lever
Same chassis Carried in Liteace as well

Nice looking Toyota. I've heard of the Master Ace, but I'd never seen one in person. I thought they were only powered by the turbo diesel engine.

While C series for their diesel
You could probably easily convert this to an electric vehicle. I've been in these a d the engine is like the Previa setup.

Been tempted to paint mine Federation blue and white and put some white or light blue LEDs so I have "impulse drive" lol.

I believe the rival if the Surf in your video is the Ford Spectron/Mazda Bongo, and Nissan Vanette Largo Coach (add the Lite Ace if same brand competitor is applicable)
Japanese Toyota 30 years old van still running good better than the American brand new oil drinker cars. That's the superiority of Japanese technology

Masterace surf is another name of Right handed version of Toyota Van LE from Usa, counterpart of Liteace and Hiace yet uses diff. Suspension

I think that I saw this exact van on M53 last week. Cool... but kinda odd.
I drive M53 daily and have been mostly driving this for the last 3 weeks, so there's a good chance you did see this
