First u need to use for the input transistors high gain and low noise transistors then I used mj transistors for the drivers and the pair 2sa and 2sc as a power transistors then u need to work a bit on the value of the resistors
@@ricoananda8975 nothing will work fine just you will have less power and the 47k resistors you may need to play with to bias the transistors on the right voltage amps
so the resistors for audio I always try to use dale from vishay, and trying to avoid as much I can the ceramic capacitors for audio because the ceramics in audio do not work well for electrolytics I prefer nichicon audio grade and gold. For transistors here depends of voltage and current

I add the big yellow capacitor on the input and I used different transistors that are much better than the original schematic and needed to change the value of some resistors in order to bias the transistors properly

Thanks for your comment, have already square wave test if you watch the video is there. In the final part of this project I will do THD and Noise test, oscilloscope test with sin wave square wave and audio test
I don't own yet a sound card in order to do these tests but slowly slowly I am preparing the budget for one. on my opinion the sound its pure and the tests that I can do just with the oscilloscope went well. so more than this information's I am sorry I can't provide
Sorry, this amplifier is a classic class "B" amplifier design. If biased for class "A" operation it would be a huge waste of electricity. (and not output thirty Watts, only nine or ten, consuming over fifty watts) Use a 'scope to look a the base of the two output transistors and you will see only half of the signal on each base. Ron W4BIN
@@SymbolTech21 The bias can be adjusted for any class of operation (with the idling current) from the most efficient linear operation, class "B" push pull, to the least efficient (with 1/3rd the output) class "A" by offsetting the dc value of the audio drive, usually by passing the transistor drive forward through diodes. The number depends on the stage of placement. Ron W4BIN

The finals are the same I use as well about the other transistors you need to check the datasheet to see the voltages and how many current they can handle and also the amplification factors

An excellent amplifier when properly set up, It is musical and analytical. Recommend adding a Zobel network before the speaker.

I never ever seen a class b that have 1.5 A quiescent current

For hiraga I suggest you a full range speaker without any crossover
