First things first...we aren't painters and have never painted before. But watch us do it, learn from our mistakes and see this car finally get some color!!
I can get your hesitation, I've never painted before either and I'm really anxious about trying to paint my project. Still not sure what I'll do at this point.
It was definitely a massive learning experience. I'm sure if I painted it again that it would turn out better. It's an OKAY paint job, not great. But I did it myself and learned a lot which was my goal. Never to make a show car - just something fun to put around in.
Thanks for the T Bucket videos, I'm hoping to build a T Roadster myself one day and there's not many videos on TH-cam of T builds. I reckon your colour is nice and it will most likely look great when you have wet sanded / buffed it and it's in the sun. Look forward to future videos.
Thanks! It's been fun building this, just wish I had more time to get it wrapped up. I'm getting anxious to drive it. The color is darker than I expected, but it is a really nice color. I took the body and the pieces out in the sun the last few days to bake a bit and it looks really great in the sun!
