The Astra has a VXR engine in it (like my old white Vauxhall I owned on the channel) so 2litre turbo charged I didn’t ask what power it had but it was getting 155mph so I suspect it must have been about 500-600bhp range at a guess. I will talk to more owners next time for sure. The golf on the other hand looked like something with 1000bhp ......but clearly it wasn’t haha it only went about 128mph so probably circa 250-300bhp tops at a guess.

Fordy Ford got to get it back first, unfortunately the next one of these is mid October .... so it’ll depend on weather in this country but maybe then. If I can get to something before then I will and have a few ideas 👍👍 can’t wait 😊
Definitely some mega stuff fella and certainly some big wedge, but what I love about this event like this is that it has a cross over of what’s between affordable for some and then you super high end stuff, if you go to the VMAX events it tends to be just super end care which to some can be intimidating but this so isn’t.
MikeJ H she’s a beast, it’s a around corner car anyway so much fun around little country roads. I have some other fast cars but these events you need super super fast cars imo
