Dude, I never heard of you until your guitar infomercials & I never really listened to you until fairly recently when I got a notion to hear some music like La Paloma. Sometimes that's the perfect relaxing music. Back in the early 90s I went on a mission trip to Mexico. I have a permanent favorite from the morning we were leaving to head back home. We had to get up while it was still dark & most folks were still sleeping. The motel had music playing on speakers in the halls & because it was so quiet I heard it for the 1st time. I think the song was Los Perrigrinos. That was the moment that I felt like I was on a trip to Mexico. I'll never forget it! La Paloma & similar songs take me back there!

Since, I have gone through some of your instructional videos and try to pass some technique now to my grandson over, of all things Face Time...Long Distance Learning because of Covid. I mention you to him and have linked him to some of your work, La Paloma for instance. The chromatic scale and how to finger that was one of your first exercises and the way you taught it was actually part of the first lesson and continues a mainstay exercise. Growing up in the late 50's my parents regularly listened to Segovia and I love yours and his story. Thank you, Master.
