I recently adopted 2 young German Shepherds from a rescue. They are understandably nervous and unsure. I put on this soothing music and both have been peacefully napping for 2 hours. Who knew they were music lovers?

My grampa was a real life cowboy and he played Spanish guitar. I remember listening to him and his friend who only had 5 fingers between both hands sitting on the cabin porch playing the most beautiful tunes. They've been dead longer than most people have been alive. Time is strange
When I hear Spanish guitar nylon strings it just has a sound of definite PASSION. The way the guitar tones express minor key passages is unique, at least to me. Spain is the heart of the modern guitar , a culmination of the Moors and Moroccan influences, as well as African .
Dude your comment is so right on so many levels I can't begin to explain why I felt so happy and understood after reading it. As a descendent of the "moor" people with a recent obsessive fascination in the connection between Spain and the Arab word, and also as some who plays and LOVES the classical guitar I cannot agree more.
This music soothes me but at the same time makes me emotional. Missing the days of my youth; a small home filled with my parents, and my siblings. The delicious smells coming from the kitchen of my mother's Venezuelan/Italian cooking and all the sounds that came with it; sizzling, running water, laughing, chatter, occasionally scolding, plates and utensils being set. Some would have called us poor back then, living in our tiny apartment in Brooklyn, but to the seven of us we were content. Full on good food, love, lessons well learned through life's struggles and hard work. Those were the days that enriched us like no other. Fortifying us, preparing us, though at the time we had no idea. We just let the days drift by happily, one after another. I wish we would have appreciated them more for the riches each one of those days held. Their value was already there. It is the human flaw that only allows them to appreciate in value as they go by, unless we are blessed to be wise enough to capture them in their moment and savor them. I hope that you, reading this, take this to heart. Stop, look around you and realize the beauty that is you and the world around you and the people that are sharing it with you. Enjoy it while you hold it in your hand, for it passes through your fingers like the waters of time.
Money does not mean happiness. The love of a good family and time spent together build memories that last forever. My wife and I raised 3 fine sons. Their fondest memories are good food, story telling, playing with cardboard boxes, and wrestling on the ground in the rain. Just being boys. 😊

I had the chance to come to work in Spain for a few years a long time ago. I took it with both hands. Soon after coming here I fell in love with this maravilla of a country. The same happened with my wife and son. Some years passed and a lot happened to all of us, but this true love for the people and country called us back. And here we are, for almost 4 years got back and will never leave again. We simply love our life here, far away of toxic people we had once in our lives and with our souls full of this feeling of peace and serenity.

The love of my life was an exotic, handsome man from Colombia. Each time I entered his home it was a wonderful escape from the reality of my life. I so love Spanish guitar. It must be due to all of those Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. I've been to many parts of Mexico and I adore how they stay within their heritage. Especially in The older parts of the country. In the 1990s I saw women washing clothes in a stream of running water, behind homes in the village. Iloved the tour ride through small villages known to have been home to actors.
Been under a lot of stress lately, due to a medical emergency for my husband and other problems at home while he's in hospital. I needed to problem solve on paper. I turned on this music in the background while I wrote a to-do list. It kept me calm. I'm so grateful for this lovely music! Thanks!

I never knew that a Spanish guitar (acoustic) vs a normal acoustic guitar was different until my father showed me an old one of his. The beautiful and humble sounds it produces is soothing especially when played well. Anyone who’s interested in guitar and loves this music, try and find (even a used) Spanish guitar it has same chords n everything and it will make you feel warm and fuzzy

I so love Spanish guitar. It must be due to all of those Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. I've been to many parts of Mexico and I adore how they stay within their heritage. Especially in The older parts of the country. In the 1990s I saw women washing clothes in a stream of running water, behind homes in the village. Iloved the tour ride through small villages known to have been home to actors.
