He'll be charging unscathed, believe it or not. Ukraine never lost a single soldier this year. Ask the Ukrainian soldiers they'll confirm what I said. The Russians however lost 4 million so the casualty ratio so far is 300,000 to 1.

Within a similar timeframe in WW2, Germany took far larger swathes of Soviet territory than France. That happened after the Fall of France, so the Soviet Union should've been forewarned.
Also, by 19th century standards, Napoleon waged quite a Blitzkrieg against Russia, which barely offered battle.

Ukraine needs to move more of its troops to the frontline. France & other EU NATO nations could take up rear area functions & free up frontline forces. Also air defence systems could be brought into Ukraine & that would be a great defensive help.
Anything inside Ukraine can be blown into oblivion by Russia. But I guess more air defence systems would be a risk limiting factor.

According to very reliable Stephen Bryen (weapons & strategy) released just now France has, in fact, just sent first 100 of about 1400 specialist troops from 3rd Infantry Regiment of the French Foreign Legion to SLAVYANSK. These are in DIRECT front line support of 54th Independent Mechanised Brigade un that region.
The French are said to have passed through Poland.
This is a non endorsed NATO deployment of huge importance and seriousness to us in the West. How will Russia react to these Nato troops openly serving now in Ukraine. Yet silence maybe even shock in the western media till now !!

I've been observing Macron for the past months now and would come to the conclusion that the PM demonstrates foresight similar to that of Churchill with regard to the war in Ukraine. He is ahead several steps among his contemporaries with his conviction of sending troops to Ukraine. We need more of this for EU leadership insights for the security of the whole European region against the aggressive behavior of dictators such as Putin.

Bravo Macron. I am from Poland and for the first time in my life I feel France is our ally. This feeling opens a gate for me to feel a true European ties. In the past i thought its immposible to call France a sister of Poland but now I see its possible.
