I love your videos of the city of Sczcecin. Thanks for keeping us in US updated as to what’s really going on there. Nothing like a couple of citizens giving us their perspective!
Mark talking about his daughter's boyfriend beautifully smiles in a fatherly way in 19:09. My daughter is only four years old, but I really understand how you feel man :)
my Babcia Rosemary was a Navy pharmacy corpsman in WW2. Tzatza James was Army Intelligence in WW2. Dad was Army Nurse Corp for 30 yrs. I was Army Medical Service Corp for 7 years. Thank you Mark, for your service! Love this video!
I love your kitchen's closed on Friday. this video stood out and answered a lot of questions I've been thinking of the two of you a lot with what's going on in this crazy world right now. it's good to see that you guys are able to still move around. mark with all of your experience with being in the service I'm sure at times it can be scary and you get to see things from a different viewpoint on what's going on in the states. I wish you and your family safety and love. and future videos to come. seems like you always got really good content to share. thanks again Jackie from Illinois
I spent 15 years in the US Navy. After September 11th we would have multiple people on watch at all times, carrying shotgun, 9mm, M-16/M-4, and they where always full loaded with a round in the chamber.
My Dad was a BM2 on board the USS Hanson #832 in WW2. His spare time aboard ship was spent being a barber or making "square knotting" things he would sell at the next port of call. Love your channel.
Very informative video. My husband was a Navy boy he would just loved to see those ships. Plus I have been corrected many times saying boat instead of a ship. The food looked amazing. Have a wonderful day .
Always a fun Friday treat to be out and about with you two. "Bluto" was a photo-op in uniform, and I bet that was no accident. Pirogi lockers should be standard equipment on anything that moves. The way Mark said "boyfriend" said it all! Thanks for bringing us along!
5:51 I spent my first year in the Navy as a Stinger Gunner in the Middle East going ship to ship. With the promise of any A school I vowed to never go on a ship again. I spent the next 21 years in the Seabees.
Thanks for sharing today ….I had a wonderful time inspecting and learning about the ships. Blessings to you from Queensland Australia 🙏🇦🇺🙏🇦🇺. Great to see you both laughing and enjoying your day! 👍🙏🇦🇺
I do believe the Polish Navy has gone green. Most of the guns you showed us are converted to hydro pressure weapons that use sea water or Grolsch Premium for ammo. The boxes along the rails were identified correctly by your wife. LOL Love checking in on your videos. Thanks for sharing.
As someone who lives here - next time could you tell us what you got and what it looked like? For example, one of those dishes looked like very different - and would be curious what it was. (American living just south of Warsaw.) Thanks for the video!
I just discovered your channel while trying to recreate some of my babcia's recipes and got so excited seseing the title of this video. At this time, 2 years ago, my sister (O5) was on the USS Kearsarge in the Baltics and I thought maybe I'd see a glimpse of her ship. She stopped in Gdynia and Gdansk (I'm not sure how close that is to your location) but while there, she got to see the ship that brought my babcia to America after WWII. To answer your question, she was able to call and facetime with us while in port, and while it was extremely hard to be away from her kids every day and she missed them like crazy, she told me it was also a nice break from being a mom and running a busy household for a bit (thankfully her deployment was only 6 months this time)
Boats are (or at least were) defined as a vessel less than 150 ft long....so, back in the day submarines were legitimately "boats" per the US Navy's definitions. That name stuck even after the subs got to be longer than 150 ft. I found your channel recently and it is entertaining. Love the recipes, and the "Kitchen's closed" episodes as well!
Cool I've never seen a boat that close up. Pluto was cool attraction I wish I would have joined the Navy. You guys rock food looked great. Being in Arizona I can order hot dogs fries burgers oh,and pizza too.Cool channel no doubt. Poland has so much history with alot other countries. Dave in the good Ole USA.
I was on a carrier in the early 80s. We didn’t have cell phones or the internet. Aside from drills and work down time consisted of watching the same movies or programs over and over or working out and sleep. The high point was chow lol
Not being able to look down the barrel it would be easy to gestamate the calibre size. My guess based on what can see I'd have to say its bigger than a 7.62 calibre.. more like a 50 cal weapon. Looking at its body.. I can see this is a belt fed weapon, thus a 50 cal. One other way to guage it is can you incert your index finger in the end of the barrel?? If its a easy fit.. 50 cal. at the least! BTW. I was Former ARMY and one of my jobs was an Armorer.
I really love your cooking show & your mini trips in Poland. I have told MANY of my friends about your show. I also love humor, but I have to say your husband’s constant silliness & giggling is a bit too much. I know, if I don’t like it I should shut it off, but I do like your content….without the goofiness.
It’s perfectly fine, this was a open to public event that was posted on the city’s website, as well as NATO’s public relations FB page. No worries. Thanks for watching!
Mark: U were in the Navy during the good ole days (dobre czase). General Mark Milley - commander in chief (LOL) is transforming the US army, navy and air force into woke fiefdoms and alpha males have only a tertiary role and U wud probably end up peeling potatoes in the kitchen in the new navy. Most of Nato i.e., sweden is the same and let us hope Poland does not catch this contagion as it seems very quik to adopt anything from the West, sooo sad when it is soo unique a country in Europe. Do Poles want Warzawa to become woke Berlin/Stockholm/Amsterdam??? Be careful - that this does not happen to ur beautiful homogenous kraj/miasto.
An old Army guy myself just found your channel. I always admire the Polish people for standing up to tyranny. So excited to see Poland. 🇺🇸
Thank you for your service
As always, you two make my day. Your playfulness is infectious. Szczecin looks like a great place to be and even live.
I'm Lithuanian and polish, thank you both for sharing your life with us 🇺🇸
❤️ kitchen's closed!
Thank you for sharing.
Your best kitchen closed video yet.
I love your videos of the city of Sczcecin. Thanks for keeping us in US updated as to what’s really going on there. Nothing like a couple of citizens giving us their perspective!
My pleasure!

I think it is "Kitchen Closed" - not Kitchen's clothes.
I spent 15 years in the US Navy. After September 11th we would have multiple people on watch at all times, carrying shotgun, 9mm, M-16/M-4, and they where always full loaded with a round in the chamber.

Hello Annie
Always fun to hear Army assessment of Navy ships... Classic!!!
Always a fun Friday treat to be out and about with you two. "Bluto" was a photo-op in uniform, and I bet that was no accident. Pirogi lockers should be standard equipment on anything that moves. The way Mark said "boyfriend" said it all! Thanks for bringing us along!
Bluto 🤣 Even made my husband chuckle. Great kitchens closed.
A już myślałem, że dzisiaj będziecie pościć! 😁
Wow. On the menu, I spotted Zebra and Whiskey. Took a split second for my brain to translate that into Ribs.

Will do Becky, thanks for watching!
Seeing the mounted machine gun i thought it was a 12mm and that AA gun probably a 20mm
Mark you are too funny today, love you both, you are the best

You two crack me up!
"Cue the Jaunty sea music!" ~Ah yes, What shall we do with a drunken sailor? I have not laughed so hard in ages! Dziękuję

Question - What are NATO war ships doing in Poland?!?!?!?
Answer - Because Russia is still ruSSia.
Fun fact: Polish ships are also NATO ships moreover for a quarter of a century now.
Cool I've never seen a boat that close up. Pluto was cool attraction I wish I would have joined the Navy. You guys rock food looked great. Thank you for sharing the info
The twin barreled system on the front is a 23mm. The single barreled MG on the side is most likely a 12.7mm KORD Heavy Machine Gun.
I was on a carrier in the early 80s. We didn’t have cell phones or the internet. Aside from drills and work down time consisted of watching the same movies or programs over and over or working out and sleep. The high point was chow lol
You two are so cute☺️
Perfect prenouncination of Szczecin & “Wally Chrobrego “. almost better then your Wife’s. Ha ha ha

Chrobry = The Brave, if that's easier to pronounce 😉
You're back! Yay!
YAY!
better have your go bag packed, I can see Mark with a secret room in his house full of advanced weaponry like in the movies
Maybe……maybe not 🤔
We know there sending ships Poland because of the situation in Ukraine & Russia.
It's a BFG. Big friggin gun. Just kidding. Another great video.
Mark just loves a BFG!
👍👍👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Popeye, not Pluto! LOL Love you guys :)
BLUTO was the bully in Popeye always trying to steal Olive
Szczecin is where my dad's from & its a fabulous place! Poland is sooo underrated. Am upset to hear about NATO war ships there....
Really? Better than Russian ones 😉
Poland joined NATO in 1999.
This is awesome NATO Ships 🚢 in Poland Harbor . Gun status Red hot
"They didn't row boat over here." 😅😅
😁💝
You should ask your dad why in America they don’t call it a Bass Ship 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😁

Well…I am who I am.
Bluto!, I love Popeye!
They look like target practice for modern war ships 😂
why didnt you thank him for his service?
I should have 😆
I don't know guys but with Putin being as crazy as he is, I would be very nervous with these combat ready ships being in my harbor. Stay safe!
As if you can't pronounce your own wife name (it's an easy one for Polish standards) 😅
NATO should be abolished. End of discussion
Think you aren't supposed to let others know where ships are.
It’s perfectly fine, this was a open to public event that was posted on the city’s website, as well as NATO’s public relations FB page. No worries. Thanks for watching!
Erm! Poland are in NATO. The end.
Was this filmed earlier; you dressed up in jackets and long pants; isn't it hot?
This was a couple weeks ago, we had a cool spell roll through. Thanks for watching!
