i remember when i was little my brother got this game and a gameboy colour for his birthday. One day i decided it the gameboy looked a bit dirty and my toddler brain decided to wash it in the sink. He never lets me forget that day 😂

That said, here’s a hidden option when booting-up GameBoy games on 3DS: when selecting the icon, hold Select (or Start) + A button, while it boots-up (holding for 3-seconds or so), & you’ll get the GameBoy Color border as well as the original resolution the game ran at.
Crystal IMO is the best pokemon game, the excited and amazment on my face as a kid when I beat the final four and an ENTIRE remastered map of the last gen appeared, nothing will top that excitement ever
Damn this is the one. A year maybe two ago. I was able to put crystal on my phone with randomizer. So every mon in game including celebi was available. Just had to find them. This is by far the most underrated game in the series
Silver/Gold is pretty well regarded as two of the best Pokémon games. Understandable that Crystal would be good, I think it just didn’t sell a ton of copies. Suicine was an odd choice for the legendary dog to feature, probably would’ve been more popular with Entai.

It was literally three months b4 gba so people knew about gameboy advance and honestly didn't want another version of a game they already had. Not to mention G/S caught alot of slack from people of the time. The gen wunners started back then lol

The majority of people identify with the same sex they always have been, it just so happens there's more media representation for the people who feel a little less comfy in their bodies now. Generation 2 is my absolute favourite! I stopped playing Pokémon when x/y was announced since I’m not a big fan of the newer generations. Having gen 2 and asmr combined is perfection^^

That is awesome that ya still have the OG 3DS! I miss that glossy design! I had the teal colored one! I upgraded to almost every 3DS model via selling the previous one - OG 3DS to Royal Blue 3DS XL to a Charcoal Amibo 3DS XL and lastly the 2DS XL during the pandemic. Love the 3DS era and still have my 2DS xL to this day even with owning a switch. Great! I think my favs during that time were def my royal blue XL and the current one I have now….2DS XL…mainly cause those two it was much easier to get to the SD card…than that of the amiibo 3DS which ya had to screw the back of the handheld off to get to it. Only one I didn’t own was the 2DS that didn’t have a clamshell design. Absolutely love playing Pokémon Moon version, Mario Kart 7, Mario Party, Sonic, Shantae and DK Country Returns! Not to mention I have some classic NES, SNES and Sega game gear games installed on it to! Loved the 3DS era 🎮👏 One of my fav Pokémon versions of all time is def silver version! Johto had some of my fav starters to this day! Totodile all the way! 🐊💦
