Watching you become a mom is such a joy!!! Loved what you had to say about how the transition has gone, all too relatable! You're doing so good Shelby. Motherhood is the most challenging and most rewarding experience! ❤
Love you!! 🥹🫶🏻💗
So impressed you got this video out. I can relate to so much of what you said. I cried everyday for 2 weeks (once we left the hospital). Even though I’ve been with my husband for 7 years and we know how to communicate, the hormones and monumental life change of having our first baby threw us for a loop. The baby blues are so real and I had no idea how common it was before I gave birth. I had to give up tracking my daughter’s sleep because it was causing me too much anxiety. I gave up all expectations for what I thought “newborn sleep” looks like😂. By the way, you look amazing Shelby! I hope you continue to feel better each day!
Thank you!! 💗💗
You and David are doing such a beautiful job at newborn parenting! So happy for all 3 of you! And it’s awesome for you to have David off so long to share in what is so challenging an wonderful! Loved the blog!
I had my c section Monday and baby boy is 5 days old today. It’s been the best experience ever becoming a mom. So exciting to go on motherhood journeys together. Congratulations again! ❤
Congrats to you!! Hope your recovery is going well!
Pumping to give yourself more sleep is a great idea. I might look into this
Cluster feeding is hard! Adjusting to a new family member while being sleep deprived is hard too! You’re doing such a great job! ❤
Thank you!!
Yeeeey so happy this popped up in my feed. How are you doing my lovely ❤

🥹 thank you!
The first few weeks are the hardest! It gets better mama just hang in there. Sounds like you’re doing a great job so far!
Hi!! I absolutely love your content! So real and transparent and beyond relatable!!
Do you mind sharing the song that was playing while you were putting sweet girls clothes away?
Hi! I have no idea who it's by, its just a random copyright free song I found on Facebook audio library - its called "Sweet Pea"
Hi Shelby, your looking great. Your little one Murphy is adorable. 🥰 your looking like you are enjoying being a Mum; relationships can be tested during the first few weeks of being parents but like you said keep trying to communicate and it will be fine it’s a stressful but exciting time for you both. I’ve had 4 boys and it is hard but so worthwhile I’ve had 3 natural deliveries but with my 4th baby I had an emergency c-section. You look like you’re healing well from the surgery which is great. Thankyou for getting a video out, you’re a superstar. Sending lots of love your way xxx
Thank you Louise!! 🤍🤍
Yur doing really good. Thanks for sharing your journey 😇
