Can't believe this channel - You have taken me back to Mission Beach, Atherton tableland and Cooktown I visited over 15 years now on a spontaneous trip that unfolded as I met people back in the day when 'We talked to each other like it was 1993" as opposed to being on Wifi - just like the sign on one of your videos. You've captured the essence of each place as I remember them. Magic.
Had a 4 metre croc surface 10m away while swimming at Mission a couple of years ago. Then saw another one a kilometer away. Saw them several times over the next couple of days. No more swimming after that.
You are mad swimming in mission beach 😂 I used to fish from the jetty and after catching what I’ve caught I will not be stepping anywhere in that water
Absolutely love your channel. Spent 7 winters in Northern Queensland, mainly staying at Mission Beach, you bring back beautiful memories for me. THANKS YOU
I'm away from home quite a bit and watch many of your videos on my phone. When I get to see them on my big screen tv boy do they pop - brilliantly shot like an absolute pro Terry 👍
Discovered your channel by accident and have been binge watching since. Been to a lot of these places but love your content and coverage. Better than free to air. 🍻👍🏻
Stop that! Next you'll have tourists coming in followed by the high-rise buildings and madness. Tell them about the Irukandji., the crocodiles, roaming cassowaries, blue ring octopus, stone fish etc. scare the hordes away, lets keep it pristine!
yes very lovely bit of coastline many naturist spots aswell ,,spent the good part of 4 months there inc ,dunk, combe ,wheeler islands and even ventured to garden island in my small boat ,,meet a lot of fellow naturists also ,cheers thx for sharing
To be fair, people can’t go swimming in the ocean up there (I’m in Sydney) at this time of year because of stingers. If people could swim, there’d be more people at those beaches - it’s why the freshwater swimming holes in FNQ are so popular during the summer months.
@ I’m not sure that’s correct. I know they close beaches when there are crocodiles around but I’ve seen people swimming at the beaches when it’s deemed safe.
I loved the bloopers. the birds just would not sing for you. I wondered, can you swim in the sea or is there stingers in there like in Cairns? Love your videos. Will be visiting up north soon.
I think your postings are very good I am enjoying your content. I suggest your presentation will be improved if you have less of your face on camera and more vision of the location you are visiting. Cheers and thanks

Thank you kindly!
Wow! Thankyou 🌼 I was at Mission Beach in 1987, after a cyclone had devastated the area. Wonderful to see how it is today.🎉
I’m second. Can’t wait to go there in a campervan
I’m first - no one else please to my exclusive paradise…
😂

Terry I love love love this video! Beautiful area! How long do you usually stay at the location you film? It’s wonderful to see. Suzy
I’m usually at the location 3-4 days. A couple of intense filming days then a day to edit get chores done and sometimes relax.
On a beautiful sunny day…but not so much on the other 300 days a year when it rains😂

Hi Terry Crystal clear water so lovely from Newcastle
Caves beach make that your next stop amazing secret beach
@juliaristevski2805 Thanks for the heads up. I’ll check it out when I’m down that way
Looks amazing, but wouldn't get in the water after seeing that huge dark object go from shallows at around 6:35 mark in your drone footage. Crocodile?
👍 Thankyou 🌸

There are stingers all along that coast during summer but there are nets at Mission Beach & Etty Bay
@@LetsGo012 Thank you. I went to Mission Beach in my early 20's. I hardly recognised the place in your video.
Nice place. We camped there on the foreshore with the kids years ago. Must look up the old photos. Don’t promote the quiet little places too much.
We had 3 fabulous nights Mission Beach. Dunk Island across. Kangaroos by our motel.. 3 swimming pools so didn't risk swimming in sea.
Any chance you could visit Magnetic Island. My Husband lived there as a teen and said lots of beautiful bays and history
You forgot that the man that got the great barrier reef world heritage listed lived in bingle bay and it was done from there 😉
Yes. Somehow missed that
Who was this man? Gratitude to him ❤
Did you go to alligators nest amazing place
Learn Something Everyday
Harold Holt Story
Also out there Over the Horizon
Battle of the Coral Sea
Beautiful spot. Good to see you wearing a hat (sometimes). What happened to Jamie?
She stopped travelling and found work
😊
Please, don’t tell too many ppl about what the locals wanna keep a secret to themselves.
There’s nobody on the beach because of the crocodiles.
Yeah all good until the cyclones come it's not called cyclone ally for nothing

Let’s not tell to many people ,there’s enough Southerner’s and Blow-in’s up here.
