This is a series of videos, where we will be sharing our learnings and experiences that we gained, while seeing our child " "SAINYAM" overcoming from the Autism Spectrum.
In this video we have spoken about the initial challenges that Sainyam faced when we introduced him to Occupational Therapy and speech Therapy, Sainyam was a hyperactive child and was always on the go, which
made it very difficult for us and the therapists to gain his attention.
After much research and experimentation with Sainyam we introduced Massage/ Hydro Therapy and Dietary changes in Sainyam's routiene, Which did wonders in his recovery.

As someone who is autistic, saying "Overcoming Autism" is extremely harmful. I know that from personal experience of being told I need to do that, and when I was in a position where everyone said I had "Overcome Autism". It left me in a very depressive and traumatic state.
So in my adult years I started doing the opposite. Embraced the autism, and it was a huge improvement to my mental state.

YES you really don't need to overcome autism, diverting some harmful stims can be good, but for the most part just learning to accept your autism, and understand how it affects you as all you really need.
What really should be done is Allistic folk overcoming Ableism and learning that eye contact isn't needed for a conversation and that autism doesn't need to be cured and so many other ableist microagressions

my son has less behaviour issue he is limited verbal but the most disturbing problem is when he all of a sudden he bites esp when he becomes angry. we could sense he is becoming agitated but sometimes he attacks with bite how to stop that when he get angry he grinds teeth

Thanks Sangeeta for the acknowledgement. We wish you good luck for your son, Try ROLE PLAY for potty training and fix 2 occasions in a day ( morning and evening), and at that time only make him sit at the pot, start by making it a habit, you should soon the results soon.

Hi i used tv as babysitter till 2 years old , as ter was no one else to help me, v also dint take him out as he was born in convid days, he was not
talking much so v took him to speech therapy wen he was 2.6 years old, since 4 months he is talking
now in simple sentence but his speech is not tat much clear, he is 2 years 10 months now, he is also
hyperactive, he understands most of the things v tell him, he also bring all d things tat v tell him to give , he also does pretend play, but he sometimes doesn't answer wat v ask him , he is sometimes talking to himself , he also spins d car tyre and other things, he doesn't tell tat he is hungry, he also points out at things wen asked, he also responds to his name , but sometimes wen he is busy he doesn't, he imitate and copy everything tat v do, i m worried if he is autistic, plz do reply mam

@Matildahamza you are misleading with your comments. there is nothing like medicine to cure because autism is not a diseases which can be cured but it is a state which a suffering person remains within their inner world. There are supplements that might help to reconnect to real world. Don't play with emotion of the parents.

Mam aapne to bataya replace substitute but they reman hungry but doesn't eat
Rashmi, you will need to be more creative then and find ke use kis tarah ki cheezain pasand hain...you can consult a ditecian as well for finding tasty replacements, and dont give up if the child doesn't eat once. Have patience and lovingly be strong and keep trying

Hi my daughter is going for speech therapy and she will be staying there from 10am to 3pm from 6 months we were sending her for therapy but still she will not give the eye contact and also she is not sitting continuously with me while doing the activities but she does in the center with the therapist. I don't know what is lagging why she is not showing her interest to do the activities at home while she is doing there
It can be tough when children behave differently in different settings. Sometimes, a change in environment can help children focus on a task. At home, you can create a similar routine for these activities. Maybe dedicate a special space with minimal distractions for practicing what she learns in therapy. It's also great that you celebrate her progress! Positive reinforcement can work wonders for motivation.
Remember, speech therapy takes time. It's fantastic that you're already working with a therapist. They can provide the best guidance on strategies and how to continue her progress at home. If you are still unsaisfied with results then maybe you can learn more about regenerative medicine for her.

Still he doesn't have teeth, so l give him daliya, chapati, daal, rice, paneer and some vegetables and at night twice cow milk.... according to ur guidelines regarding gfcf, can I replace his cow milk as mother's milk? Cow milk is not good , if you breast feeding please continue it’s so beneficial for your kid

Hi, Try giving the regular food with new shapes/ twists, so that they get complete nutrition in a fun way. Sainyam didn't like eating vegitables, so we used to stuff it into chapaties and create circle/ trinagle/ square shape mini chapaties...

does milk prodicts removal means removing yogurt too?
Research suggests that yogurt can be beneficial for children with autism. It may improve their gut health by promoting a healthy gut microbiome, which can sometimes lead to fewer gastrointestinal issues.
A good way to see if yogurt helps your child is to try a short elimination diet. Remove yogurt from their diet for a set period (talk to your pediatrician about a suitable timeframe) and monitor any changes in their gut health or overall well-being. If you don't see any improvement, you can safely reintroduce yogurt back into their diet.
However, if removing yogurt seems to cause your child discomfort, definitely keep it in their diet! It's important to prioritize what works best for your child's individual needs.

If you're ever curious about how milk might affect him, a short dairy-free trial could be helpful. The most important thing is his comfort, so if removing milk seems upsetting, there's no need to worry about it.
Is it okay to give curd? I stopped all diary product s but somehow not able to stop curd or yoghurt... my child likes curd..plz suggest
I think calcium is very important for kids.
So keep giving yogurt
How many OT and Speech therapy session were conducted per week?
We went for atleast 3 sessions with the therapist in a week and then daily regular practice at home.
