      Hi, thank you for your comment. What you can do is replace the stainless tee ( liquor side tee) with a stainless cross and add a stainless valve between the carbon steel tee and stainless cross. Then you can do all threaded and use tubing and compression fittings for the vent. Just like I did in my other dispenser video. Check out the link below. That’s what I’m referring to. I’m sure you can find it cheaper. This is not an affiliate link. Hope this helps. 👍

      @axcreates_official  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for watching and your support. Yes. I’m sure that’s the problem. It needs to be higher than the bottle. This one in particular is about 3” pass the bottle and works just fine. Very nice work. Is it important to weld on the thin pipe, wich goes straight up into the air ?

    • @axcreates_official
      @axcreates_official  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Thank you for watching. Yes, It is important because it allows air to enter to get better flow. No, it doesn’t have to be welded. It can be threaded. However, you’d have to replace the T fitting with a cross fitting like I did in this video and use all threaded fittings. Hope this helps. th-cam.com/video/aBIc7LcMdPg/w-d-xo.html

    • @PUKKA18
      @PUKKA18 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      AX Creates Thanks for the quick answer. Do you it is s problem, that the drinks floats through the metal pipes ? I want to built something like this, but am scared that it could be unhealthy.

    • @axcreates_official
      @axcreates_official  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lukas Quast You should be fine if you make it out of stainless steel like I did and clean it once in a while like everything else. Stainless steel is often used in food processing and facilities like dairies and breweries. And to be honest, I think the cross will work better than the T because you won’t have that loop where fluid will just sit there after you pour a drink. You can eliminate that loop if you use a cross.

      Hi, you can use a check valve or a ball valve in between. The ball valve would just make it a little longer because you'd have to use two short nipples. Check out this link. Hello.....what stops the liquid from flowing into left arm? Is it just gravity?

    • @axcreates_official
      @axcreates_official  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the fitting you see @ 6:16 is a 3/4” x 1/4” brass bushing with small 1/4” threaded plug. Which I then threaded into the 3/4” 90. The 1/4” plug is what prevents fluid from going into the arm. This plug only needs to be threaded into the bushing, but as you can see in the video, I welded it. Just some Teflon will do the job, no need to welded. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have other questions.

    • @Jguirguis1979

      @@Jguirguis1979 I don’t believe they’re made already capped. However, I’m looking into how the two dispensers I made can be done without any welding. That will be a new video.

    Very nice work. I'm planning on building one very soon and your work inspired me a lot. Two questions: would the constant contact of alcohol on metal eventually change its taste? Maybe there would be a way to thread a flexible vinyl tube inside the iron pipes? Also, how easy is it to clean it, say you'd want to put some other alcohol in there? Thanks and great work once again!

    • @axcreates_official
      @axcreates_official  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. Yes, you can feed a small diameter vinyl tube through the pipe fittings. That’s a good idea. But to answer your questions, stainless and copper are often used in the construction of whiskey/alcohol stills so I don’t think it should affect taste. The cleaning is fairly easy, dish soap and hot water does the job. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.

    Where did you source the stainless steel tube from?

  • @mat-bh
    @mat-bh 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Só no brasil q não existe tubo galvanizado. É praticamente impossivel achar essas conexões por aqui. Ainda mais pessoa p fazer rosca na ponta do tubo.

      Os acessórios são de aço inoxidável. É uma pena que esses acessórios não estejam disponíveis no Brasil.

      @@axcreates_official steel pipes are deprecated in brasil at least 3 decades. Here we only use pvc or copper pipes. Just in a few rare situations the galvanized pipes are used.

      Most of the fittings and pipe you can find at your local hardware and plumbing supply store. Amazon carries many of the fittings as well. You’ll find the list of all the parts in the description. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.

    Is it necessary to use brass nipples in between the joints or I can use regular nipples. Thanks great work 👍

      No, it is not. It is just for looks. As you can see, the liquid doesn’t flow through the body. Just from the back tee to the gun(1/4” valve). Thanks for watching.
