I remember when I helped my sister with her goats. I enjoyed milking them so much more that a cow. I liked the milk better. It took a little getting used to but it is better. I even learned how to make yogurt and cheese. That was fun and challenging. They tasted great. I am not at a place where I can have animals. I live in a city. Thanks for sharing

I only make goats milk smoothies. Fresh goats milk with strawberries and bananas. And blended until thick. So good

@@esands3726 I never kept it that long. Would make it within a day or two of milking them. I only had one goat so never had excess
@Gunnin Wizard ok. Been thinking about converting to raw goats milk for gut health. I know of a local seller but just don’t know how long I can keep it in the refrigerator .

Good idea on freezing the goats milk. We are getting more then we can consume from our three girls. That would definitely help free up some frig space until I'm ready to make up some cheese. I never made cheese so we'll see how that goes. Lol
I am trying to store milk. No freg. No electricity. Any suggestions like how did they keep it 200 years ago.

What do you feed your goats? I'm looking into non-GMO feeds. But want to eventually not to have to purchase a lot of feed. Thanks
Celie Canada for great tasting milk, calf manna and alfalfa . Put milk in bucket of water and ice for an hour. Gets really cold fast.
