I get so tired of people saying Inoue hasn't fought anyone. Jamie McDonnell for example held the IBF & WBA belts and had defended them 6 times in 3 yrs before Inoue took him out in one round. He wasn't a nobody, Inoue just made him look like a nobody.

When Inoue signed the contract with the gym, he made the owner promise, "I will fight strong players. He grants the condition, "I fight strong fighters, not weak ones.
As a result, in his first professional boxing debut, Inoue even made a special exception to fight a ranker ranked No. 7 in the OPBF Oriental Pacific minimum division, even though Inoue only had a B-class license.
Some of the boxers' opponents in the early part of the video include a Japanese national title holder, but he was a strong opponent whom Inoue could not KO.
But that was only possible because he had been KOed by Inoue, who had just made his pro debut, in sparring and had been wary and prepared for the countermeasure.
(Even so, he could not beat Inoue.)
Inoue, who became the world champion, has always faced the top ranked fighters in the world, and most of his opponents are all world champion class fighters who are unbeaten or at least have never been KO'd.
It is normal to want to take good care of a boxer blessed with talent and physique.
It is also important to set up fights that they can win.
However, Inoue always wants to fight against the best in his class.
This stoic attitude has brought about an unusual situation in which Inoue has not been able to find a sparring partner even though he has set a large reward for his sparring partner.
(Even the higher ranked fighters do not want to send their sparring partners to Inoue because they might lose their confidence in sparring with him.)
