It's always very hard to beat an original. Look a Megan.. I think that's the biggest over hyped piece of crap... it was watchable.. but for a film like that to make that much money at the box office shows you just how much the power of tiktok is.. the fact that they spoilt the movie by taking all the gore out to appeal to the younger generation just sucks..
Well budget wise , the first film was the least expensive to make, it cost $15 million, by Scream 3 the budget was at a whopping $40 million, with $7 million going to Courteney 's salary and $5 million going to Neve. The new film cost $35 million to make
Courtney said in a interview for the film that it was bigger and that having it take place in New York was like a character in itself cause its larger. The scale of the film and heightened drama is bigger
Had a great time with Scream 6! Still a diehard fan of the franchise. Even the misses *cough* 3 *cough* are still comfort movies that I would rather watch over most long running horror franchises.
