You forgot to mention the awesome one of a kind furniture you can find there!!! Out West Interiors, right across from big earls! All locally handmade furniture and home decor!! Absolutely amazing stuff!!
By "cowboy town" were talking about a "dude cowboy town". It has a Hollywood set appearance and feeling catering to dudes. For example, you'll find many tourist type retail and in each store is basically the same products. If you see delivery trucks you can watch them stopping at each store. I lived in Carefree for several months when I first came to AZ and went through Cave Creek many times. It got old for me very fast. 25 MPH zones and a long drive down the same road because there's only one way out. I grew to hate it pretty fast. Just not my cup of tea. There's a certain type of person who loves that area, conservative in thought.
It certainly does have the Hollywood set appearance! Thank you for your perspective on that... it certainly does cater to the "cowboy" theme so I can understand that perspective on it. Thank you for watching!
yes Dick Van Dyke chose it as his studio and hosted many hay day hollywood celebrities. Both Scottsdale and Cave Creek are the two heaviest 'Old West' Towns in the Valley but Gilbert and Queen Creek try to put up a fight. Although Gilbert gave in to housing. Tucson is the 'Liberal' valley, better walking, more criminals, better atmosphere, can use drugs anywhere, always noisy, mediocare restaurants, but they're open 24hrs.
