This is GREAT, I love the remade MX the background the remake of every thing else like the stairs, Lucas’s head ,the flagpole, and the castle great remake and don’t even forget the “innocent doesn’t get you FAR” but for the pare where he goes “WAHOOOOOOOO” you could of made a running segment like game over but this is AMAZING.

The flagpole being off center is slightly annoying Other than that, everything looks great, you adapted the poses into nes sprites really well The chromatic abberation effect is also a really nice touch
My main complaints are that MX's right pose could use some work in the face, GF feels a bit stiff, and it could definitely use some more impact when MX attacks, like it feels too smooth and not impactful when he slams down, it's like he just jumped. Maybe shake the environment a bit? (Not the whole screen, that'd be annoying) otherwise, it's amazing.

Well, it would be cool if MX was generating stomp dust that BF jumps over since in Mario Maker, stomp dust clouds have mouths that attack foes.
