My high school's doing this show! I'm planning on auditioning for either Mouse or a Bird, and my best friend's the assistant director. I'm so excited, these books were my absolute childhood! Edit: Well, I got a mole. Very different than what I wanted, but so much fun anyway! This show is gonna be incredible!
My daughter was going to be a squirrel in her jr high school production of this. Unfortunately, covid 19 shut that down a couple of weeks before the performances were supposed to happen. I'm glad to have been able to see what could have been.
For my 5th grade musical I’m doing this play!! I wanted to watch it to see what it’s like!! I’m probably going to audition for mouse, toad, frog, or snail!! Those are the main roles we have!!😁😁
When I was in the 1st grade I went on a field trip to see this show and that was over 13 years ago lol, I remember the one we went to see had these HUGE glowing eyes and big mouth with sharp teeth for the scene with the big evil frog and it scared the crap out of me lol
Boy, I really wish I could see it for Real if it comes to Atlanta, But I Didn't get a Chance to see it. But Thank God for youtube. I finally able to watch it and I have to say that this is one of the best Stage Musicals that I ever seen in My Life! Now if only if was an Animated Movie of this if it was made in the Near Future.
You should see Hamilton if you thought this was good. The only musical I have thought this was better than is Little Women, that has to be the worst musical I have ever seen, it wasn't the actors, it just was very boring. Also... I watch a lot of advant garde "original" musicals if that tells you anything.
At my school we are doing this play and I’m mouse. In 3rd I was supposed to do this but COVID shut it down and I get to do it again! We are preforming in 2 weeks (March 11, 2022)!
If I had a nickel for every kids musical thats structured as a series of vignettes that had a song about a character trying to fly a kite, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
+Jose V This was advertised as an adult production, not a children's one. There were NO children in the audience. You're very generous with your dumbass comments.

Mr. Lobel would've more than proud of this idea that his daughter came up with.

I auditioned and got snail, lizard, father frog, and mole
I remember going to see this in the first grade
they really did the poor black kid dirty huh
It felt racist, especially when the birds had antebellum-esque costumes...

One of THE dumbest theater productions I've ever seen. If you're an adult don't waste your money. Strictly for kids!
+Barry Scholles no shit DUMBASS if the audience is mainly consist of children then you probably didn't bother to figure out what your about to watch

Barry Scholles actually there were a lot of kids in the audience
Barry Scholles stop being a rude dumbass. This is a musical for all ages.
frog and toad is a childrens book but go off
