Just got my 6C today and had my first shave with a DE Razor, I used plate 3 and even with a quick and dirty shave it still cut closer than any cart based razor I've ever used, with no irritation to boot!
I own the 2C in White Chrome, and use the R3 Plate for all three passes, and get a great shave every time, across all my DE Blades!

They should market this razor as "interchangeable", not adjustable. I love the Rockwell 6c and 6s! Great shaves with some good weight. Thanks for the reviews!

Synthetic brushes require little cream, produce a lot of lather and they spread the lather evenly. And they are cheap.

Rockwell's blades get hate online, but they work really well for me, and they're super cheap.

So with the 2C will plate 3 on it provide the same shave as the 6 C's plate 3? Same measurement?
Yes, according to their website the plates are identical and you can buy more plates for the 2C if the number 1 and number 3 setting isn't enough.
The 2C is on my wishlist now.

I have an Edwin jagger de89 which is 8 years old , would this be an upgrade on my de89 or should I look at something else , thanks in advance mate
I would say the 6c is an upgrade, its cheap and you get 3 plates. Cheapest place to buy is probably The English Shaving Company (for all rockwell razors)
@@Ziv9 just to add , the 3 plates has six settings in total, so basically 2 settings for every plate . Setting 1 is the mildest for sensitive skin and 6 is the most aggressive setting , if that makes sense
Hola mucho peso las fabrican cansa las manos yo tengo 2c y la parker todavía es más pesada la 74r , 106 grs. Y la 2C , 98 grs. Terminé optando por la Feather Japan con el peso justo y afeita como los dioses 70grs.
Why need more plate setting while u can get best setting plate on Rockwell 2c. I love it very much.
And let's not forget that 3 piece razors are WAY easier to clean than any other type.
I'm split on this comment.
1. Over all cleaning, yes.
2. Cleaning out stubble and soap during a shave, a TTO rules. I open the butterfly a little and let hot water wash around both sides of the blade.
Although I can loosen the cap on my two piece, I have to keep an eye on blade alignment. With the TTO, the alignment takes care of itself.

About the same I have very sensitive skin and I use plate 4 for all passes
My EJ runs ever so slightly more aggressive than the Rockwell plate 3. Closer to plate 4.

anyone have gillette king c ? if compare with rockwell 2c,which one more aggressive ?
I bought a regular 15 dollar double shaved razor but my first try was terrible. Maybe the quality of the blades? I want to get back into it but im worried that if i buy a premium pair ill still get the same results. As in it doesnt cut the hairs and it gives me bumps. So in my perspective, the handle doesnt matter but the quality of the blades does?
Personally Geo I use KIRSS (keep it REALLY simple stupid) LOL!! I have the Rockwell 6C and don't really like it much preferring the Model T but this one looks like it might be worth a try - pity it was made in Canada though and I do like the gunmetal coloured one rather than the straight chrome. - John down under :-D
I've litterally just bought a Rockwell 2C on the back of this review.
Rockwell whether its the chrome or ss is pure perfection. Smoothest and most efficient shave, In fact I don’t use my other 8 razors accept for my Muhle R41

I still pick my gunmetal 2C off of the stand every other week, since it was my introductory razor that began my transition/obsession. Gotta' respect the O.G. by keeping him in rotation. Grand stuff as always, Geo!
