Grime Art Photoshop Tutorial - How to Make These Gross Portrait Doodles!

- In today's Photoshop tutorial we're going to have some fun creating a surreal art style known as Grime Art, which is a weird trend where portrait photos are doodled upon with drooping, cartoonish drips of slimy flesh in vibrant colours to produce weird and wonderful zombie-like images with a gross, but somehow cool effect.
I'll show you a handy technique within Photoshop that allows you to easily illustrate and colour your artwork with the help of a pen tablet.

Thanks for the tutorial! I did this in my digital art class bc I finished early and I've been doing it non-stop with images of all my family members. It's a fun activity that only takes a few hours and gives great results despite your previous skill or experience in art!

the soft light blend mode only appears to work with certain colors, why is that?

Really cool effect, but it's nearly impossible to achieve this effect without a tablet and pen. The fade effect with a mouse just doesn't seem to work as it fades before you can even make a full line. You need the pressure sensitivity from the pen to give it that smooth look.
1:32 How do i get the features on this side? Cause there is nothing on that side of my photoshop 2020. Please help.
Go into windows at the top and find brush settings. It should be there

My brush is nıt changing! Help me!!
I have done this but with a photo of a smaller resolution. Is that why the drips and facial outlines like for the eyes come out not very bold unless I go over them multiple times or duplicate the layer?
