I really like your videos. I am a senior and three years ago I was given a scooter. Since then every summer I have investigated areas all around me. When I watch your videos I see where I have gone with the scooter. In my younger days I drove the car to appointments and had a bike that I used in the neighborhood, but I really did not know the vicinity and what that all included. Now I know there are many, many pathways going over Whitemud and all these excellent walks through the ravines, although I cannot go on steep paths with the scooter. The bike paths are also helpful, because I get lost very easily. I was at Valley Zoo and decided to see where the canoe launch was, but got lost and ended up on the walkway over the North Saskatchewan River into the area where Hawrelak Park is, so this particular video is a favourite, it keeps the memory alive. My sister complained that you don’t say where you are, so maybe you could say in which area of the city you are doing the video on, she is in the east end of the city.
I am also a senior...81 next week. Ask your sister if there is an area of interest to her in the east end that she would like a drone view of. I can only thnk of Rundle Park.
My sister golfs and skates at Rundle park. My sister walks whereas I am on a scooter, or in a car. She is familiar with Beverly, hermitage. Fort Saskatchewan, Victoria trail, anything from 137 ave. To Gold bar or 114 Ave. 137 Ave., 111 Ave. 107 Ave. Coming west. I am familiar with 111 ave., 137 ave, 107 ave. In west end. I have crossed the Whitemud at quite a few pedways. I have gone as far west as 178 st. South to Patricia heights area. East to 116 st.and 102 ave. Farthest north on scooter is 107 ave. Every time I think I can no longer find something new, I discover a new area I have not investigated before. The construction for west LRT is sometimes limiting me as to where I can go. Thank you again for your videos
The Park is going to be such a Piece of Fecal Matter, compared to what it used to be. Loss of so much Parking, they should have widened the Road, so Parallel Parking could be on Both sides of the Road. Banning Bikes from the Road would also be an Excellent Idea, as those Bastards riding them, NEVER Obeyed the 20kmh Speed limit, and often rode into Oncoming Real Traffic.
? not at all. they drained the pond to clean it up because it was badly contaminated with geese poop. dont worry. the pond will be refilled again and skating will be allowed in the winter of course.
apparently the infrastructure underground was old and needed to be redone. they also wanted to improve accessibility, improve water quality in the pond amongst other things. not fun to lose 3 years to construction but hopefully nothing like this has to be done for another 100 years.
Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎄🎄

I will look at Dawson Park in the next few weeks to see what I. can do
I will try doing Rundle Park in the next week.
Keep up the good work! The city needs to see footage like this.
Thanks
I used to work here for construction. Oh my gosh! Ring road is finished
You mean what is really just a Bike Path now, too Narrow for Real Traffic to Park along
That's alot of work to get rid of some ponds.

So no more skating Rink 😢😢😢 Very Sad what a waste of Money !!!

What was so pressing that needed renovating? Just a waste of our hard-earned tax dollars.
