Exactly, very good analysts He just fell short on Mitchell. In 2023 He was our second best ground ball get. Also Reef Mchinnes having a blinder out of Defense.
Not a Pies fan, but McCrae is one of the greatest motivators I've ever seen. He could take them to the promised land again. And yeah, agree, the age factor is not such an issue for me. The list is good and a lot of guys are still in their prime. They should look to Geelong 2022 for inspiration. The oldest team to ever take the field.
Bringing in the best player of the trade period in Houston the best half back in the game. perryman has shown he can be a good player plus membrey as another dimension to the forward line which will free up mihocek and Elliott it will help them stay up there I see them finishing top 4 and rebounding after a disappointing 2024. They look ready to attack from training vlogs
Think you underestimate Mitchell. Didn’t get a run at it at all last year. Probably the last full game he played was the GF and he was huge in that. If he plays it allows Daicos to again play outside where he does the most damage. As the hit to player dishing it out to Daicos and Degoey Mitchell will easily get his hands on it mid 20’s. Clearly best 23 the only question is will he get on the ground. Feet injuries are hard to get over.
for the flag? Bold call, but there's enough dna there, whichever way it pans out, it's make or break, if they dont make finals this year as a bear minimum then they've got to start looking elsewhere for a senoir coach I reckon.
@@Bevtone Agree. If they don't have a significant year they will be looking for a new coach. I think though unless some terrible luck they will make the finals. They will finish 4th or 5th. If they can get another star player for 2026 they could win the premiership.
Collingwood have gone all in if they can win it next season, the next 10 years won’t matter 2 much, if they don’things won’t b easy, Tassie coming fast, the age of the list, Gold Coast having a strangle hold on all the top draftees & Collingwood couldn’t have cap space, I wish Fly good luck but , I have seen this play b 4, Taranto & Hopper, this could go the other way, maybe Fly seen something that Dimma didn’t, & Leppa just like Caracella, they c things whilst the game is in play that other coaches miss, both a part of the Tigers success, but if injury’s hit & things don’t go to plan, well u seen what happend to Richmond except Collingwood is never going to get the Currany the tigers got, anyway good luck Collingwood but I think u might b hanging around Richmond in 25, at least Fly not going to go up the shop 4 milk & bread & find himself in Tassie taking a spell
Collingwood have not found a replacement for Nathan Murphy, they have bolstered the forward line but have not found any tall key backs. Frampton is useless, they will have too many opposition key forwards kicking goals on them
Collingwood are basically Hawthorn 2020. Everyone overrated them, but Hawthorn crashed to 15th, and Collingwood may not finish that low, but they are finished and you have to be heavily biased and delusional to think they're giving finals a crack. They're screwed when Tassie join.
We got lucky in 2023, but do you think we'll be worse than this year if we have a fairly clean bill of health? We were destroyed by injury this year and still finished 9th.
@SilentHotdog28 everyone said Mitchell returning for Hawthorn in 2020 will give Hawthorn a crack for finals, maybe even top 4, and to no normal persons shock, they finished bottom 4.
@@crashwoahcoot6478 lol that's what you're basing this off? mitchell didn't propel hawthorn in 2020 so mcstay, mihocek, houston, perryman, etc. won't this upcoming season? right
We need Tom Mitchell in the side he’s the type of play who gets the contested footy for players like daicos and degeoy

great video imo ;) keep it up, bro!
Love the video mate! Great analysis 🙂🙂. Go PIES 🏆

There's a reason why the AFL gives Collingwood the hardest draw in 2025. Barring injury the numbers will stack up
Why do the AFL give Collingwood the hardest draw?
@karenlequesne1326 crowds and revenue
Not the hardest
@@gwilkes5325 all of last year top 9 in the first ten rounds. Vs West coast Norf Richmond once
@ Freo end the year off with 8 games against 6 of the top 8, Collingwood, then West Coast
Incorrect
Michael and Cox are certainly in the top 22.
The loss of Nathan Murphy was the pies biggest hurdle and they didn’t get around it.
West ... Coast ... Eagles.
Collingwood isn't the oldest team, Melbourne is
Its Fremantle for me this year.

The team that gets massively under-rated every year forever is the Port. We love it. 12th with the bookies at the moment.
Cause they never make the granny
Port Adelaide aren’t underrated they are overrated
How did Lachie become
Lucky?

We shall see how Reef goes.
Pies forwards will be too busy kicking goals. Best form of defence is attack and The Pies will have a lot of that.
@yvonnebone8742 If that's the case, let's hope they kick straight!
Pies no chance. Lions very rough chance. I’d be looking at hawks dogs blues and Freo giants as the outsiders.
