If I had a nickel for every time I'd watch a seemingly patched together team with Netrioid come out the gate swinging and upset a team that was seemingly pretty stacked I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
You can tell that every team the Warriors played are fuming at how they lost. Ravens, Kings, and then Dragons just simply got run at and they could not do a damn thing about it. One of the most unreal tournaments i’ve ever seen. Each team had a way to play, but the Warriors said “we are better than you. Period. So good luck” and boy did they disrespect every team they played.
Oni look scary as hell, Pegon has been outstanding since he made his debut and has only got better, the nerfs coming off the back of this weekend will be crazy I can't wait to see more from warriors this season

This makes me realize how nutty jake has been playing lately, i started noticing it last weekend and now that i see i realize he was pogging of then as well.
@@evelynsahoe8896 This is facts, I have played Smite on and off for 8 years now, and I have recently gotten back into it very hard, I always feel like I am doing pretty damn solid, and my stats tend to reflect it, especially in jungle, but in pubs its a nightmare to get anyone to work together, playing support feels especially useless in casual, but when I have a solid team it is the most satisfying thing ever. I recently tried to check out the secret second game smite has, aka Duel, which I argue is an entirely different video game compared to 5v5 conquest, and that is the first time in years I have ever felt bad at Smite. Granted I started playing with Thanatos who is one of the worst duel gods ever, but the meta for duel is essentially assassins except for a select few are worthless, tanks are very hard to play correctly, if you are not playing a top tier mage or hunter, you will lose every round. You can't whiff abilities, you have to build and farm differently, there is no starter items currently, and its just consistent 1v1. I think it is perfect training for higher level conquest though, if you struggle with mechanics and you want to get down super efficient farming, poking, dodging killing blows with relics, always hitting skillshots, etc, duel only makes you a better conquest player. Sorry for the rant but back to the main point, starting duel humbled me a lot, I tend to carry and I feel like I am gods gift to the fucking game in pubs, so I had a tendency to rage type at people who refused to engage and stuff. Now I tend to just ignore people and focus on my mechanics and awareness, specifically sticking with my team late game, and if they wont stick together themselves, I will glue myself to someone who is doing well and try my ass off.
@@upsidedownpyramid7617 the caveat is playing too much duel will severely diminish your conquest skill. As you said, duel is essentially a different game from conquest and that reflects in everything but actually being a different game. the mindset is completely different and this tends to have a really bad effect on peoples conquest skills. Hard inting into lane,never rotating, not calling out, being out of position, barely warding, not helping with obj, and last but not least, the build. Its extremely frustrating when i have a grandmaster duel player in my game, plays adc, and loses the game for us cause he never rotated the entire game and then blames the game on us. I have never played with or against a masters and up duel player that was actually good in conquest.

I have knowledge, I have mechanics, I have the experience of being on and off the game for 8 years now, I consider myself a vet. Duel is a lot of mechanical skill, but there is only so much skill can get you playing Thanatos in a duel with no real knowledge of how duel works, so far I am 1 to 7 in wins and losses and I only won because I picked up Morgan Le Fay and outpoked a cringe ass Aphrodite player. I would say unless you want to master both Conquest and Duel, stick to Conquest as a primary game mode, for me even though duel is ranked and I do awful, it really is just mechanical 1v1 practice.
if they changed the xp and gold and this is still what happens. then im guessing power creep has hit its stride. when purchase power is this strong you gotta wonder
