Paint job was great, but when you use spray paint, do many thin coats instead of holding down the nozzle and soaking it. It will be finished way faster.

... das gegenteil von ausstopfen. ich versuche so gut wie möglich mit dem lack in die löcher zu kommen, damit es nicht orange raus leuchtet. ;)
blockieren tut da sicher nichts. im gegenteil. ein bisschen mehr "dart fit" wirkt sich nur positiv aus.

Aber ich glaube die "Maserung" mit Schmirgelpapier kannst weglassen, da sieht man am Schluss eh nichts mehr davon.
Und statt dem Dunkelbraun hättest Du vielleicht Schwarz nehmen können, dadurch wird die Maserung sehr viel deutlicher.
