A really nice way I learned to stop any bleeding is once you have everything masked give another light coat of the previous color to seal the mask lines and then do your next color.
Just got into painting as a hobby and this vid was a big help. Now I just see you chatting it up with Adam friggen Savage. So cool!!!

Curious as to what you are using as a filler and what grit paper were you using on the sander? I've been rather unsuccessful using the mouse on Nerf guns. Two tips I can share: to keep paint from peeling off of Nerf plastic, give it a base coat of Dupli-Color Vinyl and Carpet Dye or your local equivalent. The dye soaks in to the plastic and makes topcoats adhere beautifully. Also, to keep from getting bleedthrough on masking, after you are done masking, spray it with a coat of clear to seal the tape, then go over it with your next color. Great job on this one! I just got an airbrush so I have a lot to learn there.

Ace, Spectacular Job on the Nerf Gun repaint. I been a fan for quite some time, since your Zombie Stormtrooper Cosplay Build. I'm just getting into Star wars cosplay but I mostly cosplay as the Joker from Batman. I recently built a Mandalorian jetpack with random materials i had laying around like cardboard, a 2 liter soda bottle and salvaged Backpack straps, all it needs is a good coat of Primer and a shiny Silver Paint job. I'm working hard to make my own custom Mandalorian Cosplay and my jetpack will complement it perfectly. Have a great Christmas and i can't wait to see what you have in store for the new year. A quick question, I'm currently thinking about making a Mandalorian armor that is airsoft compatible, so that it can withstand BB´s without any problems without breaking anything. Now I wanted to know, do you have any idea whether a helmet that comes from a 3d printer can withstand the BB´s of an airsoft with a maximum of 2 joules? In general, my idea is that the armor looks like a real Mandalorian armor for the most part, just a little bit modified to be able to take the airsoft magazines on the belt, and it will be painted in a camoflage. At the moment I have not implemented any of this, because I am planning ahead so that I know whether this is even feasible, because it does not do me any good to make the whole thing, and in the end it cannot withstand the BB´s. Love your work by the way, mainly everything that has to do with stormtrooper, clonetrooper and mandalorian armor.
