- The 47th Brigade fighters shared an exclusive video of their fight with the Russians in the area of Solovyove.
This footage shows one of the daily episodes of repulsing the occupiers' assault in the Solovyove area. These are the small moments of the big battle in the Ocheretyne area, which have become routine for the Ukrainian military.

Which articles of an international treaty did Russia violate by starting the war in Ukraine?
The second article of the UN Charter is the fundamental principle that governs the international legal structure created by the Allies after the victory over fascism. It was based on the principle of sovereign equality of states: that no country can attack another, as Hitler did, for example. We are talking about the invasion of Poland, the beginning of World War II. We are talking about an act of aggression that threatens independence, state and political sovereignty. International relations should not be conducted in this way. Aggressive action in the form of armed attack, invasion, seizure of the territory of a sovereign state contradict the principles of international order. Since the collapse of the USSR, Ukraine has the full right to decide its future: whether it wants to be part of the European Union, NATO or remain a neutral country. If Mr. Putin does not like it - there is a dialogue for that. Thus, this is a blatant example of violating the central principles of the world order. There will be serious consequences. Mr. Putin will become a pariah.
Russia's use of Article 51 of the UN Charter, which guarantees countries the right to individual or collective self-defense, as a justification (for military action) would not pass any serious test. I would compare it to a rapist accusing the victim of being the aggressor. Russia intervenes in eastern Ukraine, recognizes the so-called independent republics, enters into a mutual defense treaty with them; these territories then ask Russia for help, claiming that they are sovereign states that Ukraine attacked. And this supposedly allows Russia to invoke Article 51 of the UN Charter. It doesn't. With the exception of the Kremlin and maybe a couple or three other countries, no one takes such an explanation seriously. Russia is the aggressor. There is no self-defense. Ukraine did not attack Russia.

This video clearly indicates how ubiquitous drones are in Ukraine. Considering how few videos of western MBTs being attacked by drones are, it’s not unreasonable to assume, that they’re quite resistant to those types of attacks, despite Russian claims to the contrary.
*Otherwise the Russians would have published more footage.
It's not about resilience (all tanks are very vulnerable to such drone attacks).
It's just a matter of NUMBERS.
On the one hand, Ukraine has few Western tanks (only a few hundred, of all types combined), whereas on the Russian side there are literally thousands of tanks. Yes, mostly outdated/inferior models, but there are dozens of times more of them compared to number of western MBTs on battlefield.
The situation with drones is the opposite - Ukraine has good supplies (and its own well-established mass production) of a wide variety of attack drones, whereas Russia has very limited quantities of them.

@@Nobody-Nowhere One was damaged, immobilized, and abandoned by the crew, and will most likely be destroyed by drones and artillery, the second was hit, but was able to escape, the third chose to escape, having met accurate artillery fire, got scared, and returned back, these were the vaunted T-90 Proryv.

Because tank squadrons dont really work here. It only does in big attacks and then leads to high losses because recon makes it hard to disguise 5-10 tanks grouping for offense together with 200 men on foot.
Also drones.
So what they do is hit and run, coordinated and helped by commander from drone pointing out targets attacking the tnak. Can still breach positions. But if you lose the tank its only 1 tank and not 5

Also, I'm curious what US weapons they're using here. We're supposed to be sending them a lot more but all I've been seeing is drones. From what I've seen in interviews the main advantage of the drones is just cost, while this terrain looks perfect for ATGMs or perhaps laser-guided artillery.
If you can hit it with a cheap drone why use Javalins and expensive guided artillery? after 2 years of war I trust the Ukrainians know what they are doing.
