Fantastic insight in what is available… I had a certain design in mind… End kitchen, bathroom on the side with wardrobe, Seating area … 1 long ( double up as single bed… all I need) and opposite a 2 seated diner. But all of these variations, really opened the field up. Thank you for taking the time to review, film and post!
Greetings from the Philippines. First I fell in love with the Hymer Exsis-t 414 (No. 4) because of its garage (maybe) for two bicycles and a small motorbike. Then I ditched No. 4 for No. 6, which is the Knaus BoxLife 600, owing to its garage, a provision for long equipment such as fishing rods, tents, and/or tripods, as well as its second (double) bed at the living area that drops from the ceiling. And I smiled when No. 6 turned out to be the winner, with No. 4 as the joint winner. Amazing compact motorhomes. Congratulations.👍👏 Cheers!
Fantastic presenter! I recently visited the Newbury MH Show and saw a couple of Knaus. Shamefully I passed them by without a second glance because I’m totally new to the whole Motorhome experience and wanted to stick to names I knew like Swift. This video has helped me rethink the possibilities of different manufacturers for a possible future purchase. 👍
The Sunlight seems impractical for UK roads with that double step on the driver’s side. Even in a layby you’re still going to have vehicles passing right next to it, unless you park on the other side of the road.
I really think that last one would be pretty perfect for me and maybe a friend that will join me and split the costs to go south for a few months during the winter, just to go and see so much, and of course go down south in the US and park on the beach and enjoy the warmer weather. Also to go enjoy many other places like the great hot springs of Colorado. I'm really getting a lot of information to make my dream come true to travel all over America and maybe even Canada in the summertime.
The RV owner rage is currently folding electric powered bikes. But many seniors cannot ride bikes of any kind due to balance problems. The perfect solution is FOLDING RECUMBENT TADPOLE TRIKES like the ICE Adventure assembled in Cornwall, England or the HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS or Scorpion PLUS of Germany. The Hymer vans have designed this great storage versatility that will make it possible to easily transport FOUR folding trikes if need be. Great vision.
I like the motor hums but some of those are wasted space does couches can turn into beds you can have more sleeping room for your family maybe they need to get an idea how to fold that table down and rearrange the bed that comes down so you can still have sleep a family of four for 6
hi all when this corona virus has passed I'm looking forwards to a new year in my first ever motor home .after 4 years looking picking up tips along the way ☺
julie blower Yep me too. Covid has put myself and my partner off flying, sitting in an air tight metal tube breathing god knows what. Looking at getting one after lockdown and driving into Europe. Can’t come soon enough!
It would have been helpful if you showed the bathroom on the Bailey AND had a comparison table with specs and pricing, we only know how much 2 of them are...doh
Would never think of buying a new to the USA camper from overseas; I would avoid all problems in getting replacement or repair parts. Let others be the test subjects in this experiment.
Hi, unfortunately the Sunlight T60 is a model that we don't stock anymore. We do, however, have a great range of both new and used Dethleffs and Sunlight motorhomes (as well as our great ranges from other leading brands) in a variety of layouts to suit your needs. If you'd like to talk to us more about what you're looking for, or would like any more information, then please feel free to give us a call on 0115 966 3838 our team would be happy to help 😃
Hello- I’m saving up to move into a motorhome full time . I need some help and advice from any one who was at the start of their journey- from leaving a house and picking a motor home ! I’m scared but need help . Please leave any helpful tips / advice . ❤
There is a motorhome consultant on TH-cam; can’t think of his name, but I’m sure you’ll find him. He probably gets a finder fee from the supplier, so he probably doesn’t need to charge a lot.
I’ve had 7 Fords; all no issue; so built, very low servicing cost, good resale value… just make sure you get them serviced properly with the right oils.
FOLDING RECUMBENT TRIKES! Get your hands on an English made ICE FOLDING trike and have one or two put inside to see if there is sufficient clearance with the models with a side door for loading and unloading.
this is the future and all electric with dual fuel generator and solar wind power. can you please post more under 6 meter motorhome? btw no matter what they try or many models are made. nothing can beat dethleff Evan.
The ironed on edging and screw cap construction methods are still the derigeur build. People are still being conned into paying ott for very poorly built stuff. The caravan standards of construction have been carried over to passenger vehicles - how will these vehicles behave in an accident?
i could only afford a 4k er 😁 its ok.second one since the old Winnebago le sharo (nightmare) totally ripped off with that one.however the one ive recently bought is a fiat ducato two berth 1991 old but good for year.hopefully keep it going for as long as possible, can't get anything on credit due to poor credit history even though im totally debt free.also can afford on credit but oh well il make do with a classic🚐
Hello, you can download any of our motorhome brochures here > www.lowdhams.com/motorhome-downloads Alternatively, please email info@lowdhams.com which vehicles/brochures you are interested in and a salesperson will be happy to assist.
People who can only afford a used Motorhome perhaps ...... why pay all that VAT, other tax and delivery charges on a new model when you can pick up a 3 year old model that has only done 5,000 miles!

I think this guy is the best RV presenter.
I really like this sector.
If I were to get an RV, this size would probably be it.
McRocket Did you look at the Laika Ecovip yet?

I like #6 because the garage would let me bring my small mobility scooter. I like #8 because of ease of making the beds.
It would have been nice to put the base price up, on the screen, for each vehicle.
I wish we had more like this in the US. Small and compact is harder to find over here.
And fuel efficient.
Love models No.6 & 8 are so brilliant designs' ideas!!
Just bought a 6 meter Benimar tessoro 481, love it

That’s it, I want to sell my house and get a motor home. This guy is a great presenter.
This is almost 3 years old but those Hymers still look fantastic.
I want one and it's going on 2020, LOL!!
Excellent sélection ! Thanks

Always a polished review from Peter 👍🏻
*This presenter is BRILLIANT.*

@@martynlewis5901 hi Martin , this lock downs certainly over due . everyone just wants to get out and enjoy the outside free spirit 👌👍☺.
Interesting, however you do not mention Fuel consumption or engine size. Is that because they are basically the same ?
It would have been helpful if you showed the bathroom on the Bailey AND had a comparison table with specs and pricing, we only know how much 2 of them are...doh
Any “left hand drive” units available?
Would never think of buying a new to the USA camper from overseas; I would avoid all problems in getting replacement or repair parts. Let others be the test subjects in this experiment.
That Sunlight T60 is quite good for the price.

Great presenter.
Great video. 👏 It's 'Metre' in English, by the way.
You missed the Auto Trail F60!
búy it
No grill/oven in the Westfalia for a van of that price is not good
Hymer van and 315 that's for me. How much pls
Do you have a Laika Ecovip review?
Or know of any other with an electric "bed up" system?
good to see a more honest review. I hate these puff pieces that some dealers do.
Hi
I’m looking for a good value motor home that sleeps 4 and has seat beats for at least 3? What would you recommend?
What is the price in dollars?
I like the Chasson, shame its on a Ford that would stop me having one.
It's also available on a Fiat but the Ford Transits are great drives!
I’ve had 7 Fords; all no issue; so built, very low servicing cost, good resale value… just make sure you get them serviced properly with the right oils.

that Evan is awesome!!!
Nice video, a little too fast to get the best view of the m/h
Squeaky British voice too
The ironed on edging and screw cap construction methods are still the derigeur build. People are still being conned into paying ott for very poorly built stuff. The caravan standards of construction have been carried over to passenger vehicles - how will these vehicles behave in an accident?
But what's the alternative? Who makes quality built but reasonably priced motorhomes?
Bailey crash test there motorhomes, other British manufacturers are starting to follow suit including swift and elddis
Lovely vans but not affordable for everyone 😔
i could only afford a 4k er 😁 its ok.second one since the old Winnebago le sharo (nightmare) totally ripped off with that one.however the one ive recently bought is a fiat ducato two berth 1991 old but good for year.hopefully keep it going for as long as possible, can't get anything on credit due to poor credit history even though im totally debt free.also can afford on credit but oh well il make do with a classic🚐
Nothing wrong with that, happy travels
no blevio??????
Show us the shower on the second knaus

Do you know where ? 😉 I can get a brochures mail to me in the USA ? 😀

"the sink comes with an inset plastic bowl which is a nice touch". 🤣😂🤭 (6mns 30secs)
Is actually a very good van though
I thought it was 6 metre, a meter is for taking a readings
Yes, you are correct.
Ya nanny goat , grammar detective, boring clown.
What is it about these "U" shaped rear lounges. Why can't designers do a better job and give us a fixed bed 2 metres long!
I think fixed bed is just wasted space. Unless it's a big van.
Who reads reviews on new motor homes that are 3 years old?
People who can only afford a used Motorhome perhaps ...... why pay all that VAT, other tax and delivery charges on a new model when you can pick up a 3 year old model that has only done 5,000 miles!
Me seven years later 😀
this guy needs a new job ..... so so negative about the vans .....
Too much talking
Lol make me laugh how he does like a top gear presenting and dramatic pauses in changes of topics. Jest pathetic
