Fantastic landing Rayan! You’ve proven that you’re a special pilot and to take us with you on these flights we thank you. There is so much to learn. You make me remember the days of flying with my friend, in the copilot seat, who is an accomplished bush pilot here in Guyana South America and touching down in so many remote airstrips. The excitement and adventure, incomparable. I still have dreams of learning to fly and keep them alive by looking at your videos. Thanks Ryan!
I can see why you don't like dealing with tail winds landing there. That was another 'edge of my seat' thrill watching that approach and worrying about that updraft just before touchdown. Good thing the wind wasn't there but it was still a thrilling landing. Great video, Ryan!
“Good Morning Ryan”!!!❤ You gotta love how controllers also watch your channel and/or know your voice!!! Awesome landing, had me on the edge of my seat!
Your guidelines for landing on slopes is helpful - i.e. 'match the slope, then flare' and the speed additive you use for this. There is private, local strip on a lakeside where this will come in handy. Thanks!
Dang Brother, sure does not hurt to know who Jesus is considering where and how (I was an ASC back in the 90’s) you fly. Your precision , habits, consistently great decision making, yakking at yourself, (lol 😂 I ALWAYS vocalized every aspect of the flight and encouraged it) are next level. No drama. Best part of your flying……..boringly great! Thanks Ryan
Man I'm doing my PPL dual lessons (only 4hrs in!) and my ground school at the moment and these videos are huge inspiration and honestly, you make me wanna do this exact thing as a job, looks so fun and fulfilling.
Talking about tailwind reminds me of a flight I was on. I think we left from Denver airport and were going to the east coast. It was to be about a three hour flight at around 300 mph. It ended up being something like an hour and a half. The pilot said we hit a strong jet stream and at times were over 600 mph. Was that some tailwind? So I I had an extra hour and a half to wait at the airport for my next flight south into Jacksonville, N.C.
Tenkyu wantok for the videos. As a PNGian in Canada, I really love to see the videos. Have you been to momote airport? Thanks for your service to PNG and may God continue to bless you and family. 🙏
Ryan what do you do if the tail wind is right at or below your limit on final, says it’s 7, and then increases to 8 or 9 after the commit point? Do you have to land and just accept the 9 knot tailwind? After commit point, you really only have one option, to land regardless, correct?

Every time I see the landing strip I shake my head like how's it even possible to land there... Awesome video, thanks for sharing!

Epic video. Good seeing you making smart moves on a tough day.
Didn't look like there was much room for error. Nice approach and touchdown! Thanks for the exciting landing. Keep it safe.
Not much at all!
I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Ryan is a STUD
nice flying Ryan!
Great video as always Ryan.
One of my favorite channels. Not sure but it's a stress relief watching your videos Sir 🙏
Lok, probably not all of them
Tricky one; you are very skilled and professional!
Thanks! It's definitely a challenging place to fly.

What a challenging runway! But you always makes it look easy.
I always say DON"T CRASH right before I crash in the simulator. Happy Sunday!
Merci davoir enlever la traduction automatique. Je peux à nouveau savourer l'excellente qualité de vos vidéos !
That is one 'short' and 'steep' runway. Thank you for the video. God Bless
Ugly afraid that many pilots who were supposed to land here had got into trouble!
alert, and Well done : thumbs up !

That's wild!
Dang man thats crazy! Well done!
That is what I call a scenic drive home.
Drinking PNG coffee as I'm watching 😋☕️
Wow! Compared to this, a carrier landing looks easy! Good flying!
Don't forget a carrier is a moving target with waves

What happened to the rudder? Looks like one off of an SIL Kodiak.
It is. Ours has corrosion inside it and we are waiting on parts
Nice to have good neighbors
Thanks for what you do to help spread the gospel! Fly safe, brother.
Youarethe best :) this one was rough :)

After committed, I take whatever I get
The views are glorious.
Thanks Ryan. Excuse my ignorance, when you say "committed" is this the point of you're landing what ever the circmstances? Great video again. :-)
Ryan, what are your options if you lose engine power over that mountainous terrain? Is this something you train for?
what year is ntk ?
Built in 2014
Hi! Has anyone ever told you that you and Kurt Russell look alike?
@8:33 they know your name... do you know theirs? How about a video concerning ATC?
I wish. I would like to go meet them, but their tower is on the wrong side of the port Moresby airport
Why the stupid calendar ad during rollout??
1st comment , hurray!
Jesus, are you really getting desperate for views with that video title and picture??
Os videos agora ficaram top com a tradução automatica!👍👍👍👍👍
