Bachpan yaad a agaya... I used to do all these things with my granny.. 😢
When i was a kid, i didn't like to watch ratha jatra but my whole family used to seat in front of the TV for the whole day till Prabhu ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ reaches Gundicha. Just to see his face, his huge round eyes, his huge smile... You just can't forget him or his smile. Although i from Puri, i have never seen him, its all his maya... Maybe one day, when he'll want to see me i'll be there.

I have been watching this live telecast every year since I got knowledge. My grandma (nani) used to see this on dd national.
I also used to join her and amazed to see that so many people are carrying a big idol to rath in such a synchronized way. Now I see this live telecast just to live childhood days and feel my grandma who is no more.
