Weirdly enough, I think one of the most synergistic cards with 2099 is the now-buffed Cerebro! Playing Cerebro early on the lane where Doom's going to go to protect against Red Guardian and just a flat +2 to the 2099 Doom & bots or the top end Doom. It's a different way to play, but since all of the bots share power, Cerebro should also hit all of 'em if you build right.

Just realized if you play regular Doom on 6, all of those will be hit by Cerebro and the 2099 bots, putting all of them at 10 power, which is 30 power added across all 3 lanes at the end of the game. That seems very worth it, so I might test a Cerebro brew out, too. Never would've considered it if you hadn't brought it up!

Im really bummed about Hit Monkey not being in this cache anymore. Seeing Daken in his spot really soured my expectations on opening next week. Im gonna skip and open for Bruce Banner instead.
Honestly I'm excited for 2099 and I'm thinking of first trying a classic doom list like turn 1 sunspot, 2 dazzler, 3 electro, 4 2099, 5 5 doom, then 6 Odin or spectrum.
Too low of a top end for me. I’m expecting a 1 point power buff in the future. Not a very exciting of a play line. I think Doom 2099 is a trap for most people. Spotlight cache is total trash. Easy pass.

Bait card. ROOT and/or Hydra bob are the cards to have when iron patriot releases. Flavor of the month card that won't age as well as the others. Not bad but not as good as people think

No. He’s fun but I’ve never had a successful deck with him. He is fun though so if that’s your top priority, maybe? Keys and tokens are so scarce, I’d focus on new stuff personally

I dont believe in doom either. On card per turn with this range of outcome is a bad strategy. Like the old electro ramp deck, that doesnt work anymore. Also your decklists arent promising to me. He'll probably end up as an arishem card. But im curious how it turns out...
Peni is a card for grinding out and seizing incremental advantage. Her raw numbers will never reach 2099's potential, but she very good and flexible. 2099 is not flexible, so I think it depends on what you like to play. If you like Wiccan, handbuff, and/or move you should prioritize Peni. Otherwise 2099 is probably the more nakedly powerful card, as long as you like playing 1 card at a time.
idk why people keep comparing Miek to Scorn, they're completely different cards. Miek you want to play ASAP and have him grow in power as you discard, while scorn you want to keep in your hand as long as possible to be discarded. I'd say Miek is more comparable to something like collector, with the added versatility of being able to move
Some people are still gonna get this card just to be getting a newer card. Not to brag but I have mostly every card except season pass cards so I could skip and that’ll give me three keys. But I’m one of them😂 so I might pick it up😂 but if I skip it’s not gonna make or break me..I just like to collect all the cards just to have that card when I need it😅
Update: I used my two keys and got Sasquatch and Madame web. I know she Is going to a s4. But I don’t think I would’ve cared if I didn’t just get her so I’ll take it.

Aditionally, at turn 6 Classic Doom, and Odin him at Turn 7. if everything goes well, that means, 4 Classic Doom Bot, 5 Doom Bot2099, the the 2 dooms. getting 10 10 10 10 10 6 6 6 6 6 7 powers across the board, not to forget a potential Patriot, cerebro or Blue Marvel

Sorry, but Doom 2099 always has 1 more power than the Doombots 2099, so he'll be the only thing getting hit by Cerebro.

I went crazy this week cause Penny cost 3 keys. I'm conflicted because I don't have squash and she's basically guaranteed at this point for me.
Penni took me four keys to get this week. 🤣 Thankfully the one redeeming thing was the random card I pulled was Makekith and I actually wanted him.

He’s the most powerful asgardian but easily the most cumbersome, in a deck that’s incredibly easy for your opponent to telegraph. Spotlight key only.

Defenitely peni! She is more versatile
