These tips are great, but that pick honing trick.... oh my! Been playing for years and never considered that. Crazy! Also, just saying hey there. My band Superchief was on the same Hendrix album that you guys did for Magnetic Eye records years back. Cheers man, love your playing!

Yo Ben it’s cool to see a legit rock guy using a light gauge pick like that. Everyone says heavy picks for speed and clarity but I’ve never been comfortable playing over a .88

Well..I don’t know about anyone else but that tip #1 is just rad. Also kinda bummed that my mind seems so easily blown..maybe I’ll drag that thing on the carpet a few times too. Thanks Ben - that really is awesome.

These are great tips, thanks for sharing. What speaker did you install in your Princeton to replace the stock Jenson?
I just installed a Warehouse ET 10 in my Princeton 65 Reverb and it sounds amazing. Overdrive and fuzz pedals sound much better now. I would describe the sound as slightly warmer and smoother but not dark at all.

Hello Mr McLeod thank you for all your shared knowledge! You quickly became my favorite guitarist, now your my favorite teacher! I've been having trouble getting my AXL Badwater to stay in tune and am about to add two more springs on the tremolo bar, do you have any other tips on helping it to keep in tune?

That thumb pick trick is pretty cool, I have big fingers and even the XL's leave my thumb blue after a bit of trying to play Doc Watson (underline trying lol). It reminds me of boiling mouthguards back in the day to make them fit your teeth.

"You can tell that your thumb pick is too tight, basically, if it's making your thumb blue." Good tip. What if my thumb has fallen off completely? It's making it harder to play :) But really, the pick rolling on the carpet is super cool!
