Hi to everybody, I have been through a different kinds of emotions watching the complete video. I've discovered your channel a few days ago, first video that poped out was your tutorial for "41" and honestly I couldn't believe it was really a real member of ATW YT channel. Let me tell you I've discovered ATW since the release of "Diamond" and I've been consuming your music gladly since then. I'm also a guitar player from Argentina, an average 50 yo guy from a poor country from a modest family. I love guitars with the same passion as you do, I would never sell any of mine and I have pretty cheap ones, but I can relate when you say they are your children bc I feel the same. Let me tell you that draw I smile every time you play a part of ATW song in your guitars, it is just magic, I love music and it is my instant reaction. And lastly let me tell you I've end up tearing up a little with your story with the classic guitar. I love my first guitar, of course I still have it but it is broken. It is a nylon classic guitar, not expensive at all but it is part of my life, and will find someone to fix it. I think the last ATW record is exquisite and it deserves more recognition. Keep rocking Ben, you are very generous for sharing so much of your music world with us. Love.
Man - As an amateur guitarist myself of over 20 years now, it always moves me listening to musicians talk about how emotionally attached we can all get with certain pieces of gear. Some things - even though they are just 'things' - can have such a powerfully palpable connection to us and helps shape our identity. Also, hearing some classical flamenco on an ATW tune would be badass!
Just joined your Patreon Ben, don't know if you remember Buddha and the guys from Tusker in Winston Salem, NC but they opened for you when ATW recorded a live album at the Garage when it was still open and I was there for that show. I had a Gretsch BST 1000 and I still kick myself for letting it go. Hate I didn't get to see you guys when you played at the Ramkat a while back
This guy keeps surprising me. Late to the game but the first video of ATW I saw was a month ago and it was a live show from Bourlon. I was blown away by Ben’s tone and phrasing. I was wondering who this guys influences are and a couple of the first couple he mentions are Lonnie Mack, Kenny Vaughn and Jerry Garcia. Not what I was expecting at all but super impressed. ✌🏼

I have a 2012 Gibson 70's tribute les paul thats been my number 1 for 11 years now. Completely stock with the dirty fingers reissues in them. It was very cheap but does the job. Paired with a BD and fuzz its a very similar style of tone as yours! Ive only ever sold one of my guitars and it was just recently. a Limited Black-Out Explorer. Im sure Ill be regretting that down the road.
The colour of my tele brought me out my anesthesia after a surgery I was having. I was playing and singing war pigs by black sabbath. I was dreaming its curves and its colour....I was holding its neck at 12 fret when I woke up. In love with my pandemic modded tele
