What can I say, Afshin except that this project is one of your finest? I love making pens especially for friends who give me wood. They really appreciate receiving a pen in return made from wood they have given me. But your penholders are simply superb and I will endeavour to make some. Laburnum is such a beautiful wood.

Hey Jeff! hope you had nice time on road trip, :D ill think of one with secret compartment and do it on better day, at the time of filming this one it was raining and my workshop got steel sheet roofs and makes too much noise for recording :( so i just wanted to finish this one quick as possible but it still took 4 hours to made LOL

Lovely piece of wood but in my humble opinion a little over the top for a slimline or streamline pen. The box is better than the pen. However you've given me an idea for something along those lines.
yeah the pen is just for refrence to how big i should make the box and its little bit bigger just in case for large pens, thanks for watching and im glad at least i could give u some ideas.

Hey Afshin, that turned out really nice! I like laburnum it's a lovely wood, it's a pity I can't show you the laburnum piece's I have as they are very different in grain, one is black and almost white and the others are brown with a rippled grain and no black in it. I've made something similar to your pen box and I'm just waiting to see if my idea is any good or if there's a need for them . You know, I still don't understand why as I'm typing this that the video has had 121 views and only 14 likes, I just don't get it !?. Anyway look forward to your next video Afshin, take care my friend and be safe. 😊
Hey Angus, thats very interesting in my laburnums i can sometimes see black like this one had but never compeletly black or white if you can please email me picture of them at craftwithafshin@yahoo.com, btw id say its low views atm because it probably only 1 or 2 hours since i uploaded and soon will pick up :) but thanks for your support as long as people are watching even 1 person ill still make more videos so dont worry my friend.
