What I found interesting about that last clip is that it looked like as the Center was sliding off the nose to the linebacker he was trying to maintain his trailing hand on the nose to help make the handoff to the guard, but because the guard never turned inside and made a push, the nose had momentum, and what that did was create some drag on the center's trail arm, making his slow to turn to the linebacker and square him up. So essentially the center maybe could have come off the nose and pulled his trail arm elbow in to get ready to punch and maybe could have shut down the linebacker, but he didn't because he assumed the trail arm handoff to the guard would be safe because the nose wouldn't be turning him like a turnstile away from the linebacker because the guard would punch him with his left hand before that happened. That means that guard not being there caused the center to get hung up and not get a square shot on the linebacker, making it looked like the center let two guys go free. Really the right guards poor execution that caused all that. S Makes you wonder if the center starts thinking, I can't leave that trail arm out there to help, because if the guard doesn't do his job, I'll miss my block, and so now even if the guard does show up that nose has less of a fight to penetrate, all because the center doesn't trust the guard to be there. That's the shit you miss if you don't look for these things.
